Jesus Loves Us

Congratulations on accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, and becoming one of His disciples. This is the most important thing you will ever do in your life. There will be attacks and temptations from God’s enemy, but now you will not need to face them alone, for Jesus has promised to be strong for us.(Be confident in this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6) (Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10) (Jesus said; In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33)

Each day as we wake up we are sinners, that will never change while here on earth, it all started in the very beginning, as you will see below. However, you have the opportunity to live a life of sin and know without a doubt your life will exist in Hell, or you can choose God, who loves you so much that He gave us His only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to take all of our sins for us. Sure, that seems impossible, but what you will learn as you grow in Christ, Jesus can do everything, see He created us, as well as the universe. He does not hesitate to forgive us when we ask, we do not have to beg Him, and it is His pleasure to make you happy. It also takes your part, you have to be willing to walk away from sin and give your life to God. To accept His will in your life now. Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you.

The first recorded sin happened in the third chapter of Genesis. It was motivated by Satan, posing as a talking snake who taunted Eve about God's restriction against eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Cain killed his brother, Abel, after God warned him that he was at risk for sinning. Moses sinned when he disregarded God's instruction to "speak" to the rock to release water for the wandering Israelites in the wilderness. Instead, he struck the rock with a stick. The consequence was that he was not allowed to enter the Promised Land. He died right before the people went in. King David committed the sexual sin of adultery with Bathsheba while her husband, Uriah, was off fighting in David's army. Later, to hide his sin, David ordered Uriah to be killed in battle. The child died soon after it was born, in spite of David's prayers and fasting. King Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, erected two gold calf idols at the borders of Israel. He was remembered as the one who "caused Israel to sin." The result was Israel's captivity by Assyria. A similar refusal to eliminate idolatry caused Judah to go into captivity to Babylon.

Matt. 12:31 I made my sins known to you, and I did not cover up my guilt. I decided to confess them to you, O LORD. Then you forgave all my sins.

God has forgiven all of your sins. No matter what you have done in your pass life... God loves you and forgives you. The enemy (devil) will always try his best to bring guilt and condemnation in your life... but his best is not good enough. We serve a mighty God so just put your trust in Him knowing that you are His child.

Jeremiah 29:11 I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are plans for peace and not disaster plans to give you a future filled with hope. I pray that God will empower you with His Holy Spirit and Peace, which surpasses all understanding.
