“Laziness”

Proverbs 21:25 The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour. 21:26 He coveteth greedily all the daylong: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

Lately I have just felt so lazy; I cannot get the desire to do anything at home. Sure, I have been unable to do a lot since the surgery; however, I decided to take it to the Lord. I ask this day for energy and control over the pain so that I can accomplish things I desire.

Every day on my way to work, I see homeless and my heartbreaks for them, however, there are a couple that I know has been offered jobs and they refuse. One in particular has said he makes more money not working than we do working and he laughs about it. Therefore, I do know there are many that do not want better for their life. It is those that make it bad for those who really do not have a home, or job, or anything. I went into Gods word seeking the subject of laziness and was shocked to find several scriptures relating to the subject.

I do believe the Lord is talking more about those that will not do anything to help themselves or their families, than me for having a bad day. I do know I am not going to chance it; I will put my heart into cleaning what I am blessed to have. Proverbs is especially filled with wisdom concerning laziness and warnings to the lazy person. Proverbs tells us that a lazy person hates work: A lazy person becomes a servant: “Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor” 12:24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. His future is bleak: “A sluggard does not plow in season; so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing”. The bible uses the word sluggard for lazy.

As a Christian, I know there is no room for laziness, we must make time for our home but also time for the lost and we cannot be lazy about getting out there to help. We know that God will reward us for what we sew.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Solomon warns us many times over in the book of Proverbs about the sluggard. One who puts things off, who finds every excuse in the world to not go outside, there are also those who are spiritually lazy, not only do you not want to get off your lazy bottom, you don’t want to hear or talk about God. That is one laziness I never wish upon anyone for without God you are nothing. And with laziness you will never accomplish anything that God requires of you, so they go hand in hand.

I suggest today that you get up and get out. Let God take care of the rest. He will give you the strength and the courage if you only ask. No more excuses folks. It is time to start anew and work. God bless you my friends. I personally ask for this strength today to get things done and for healing unknowns to human doctors. Praise you Father in Jesus Holy Name. Amen!

“Lend a Helping Hand”

Jesus informs us of our duties: feed the poor, give water to the thirsty, be welcoming and hospitable, and visit those in prison. It is such a blessing in life to be able to be a blessing to others.

The sovereign Lord says: Look, I myself will search for my sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his scattered sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they have been scattered on a cloudy, dark day. I will bring them out from among the peoples and gather them from foreign countries; I will bring them to their own land.

This shows us God’s care for His people, that he retrieves them from the places they were scattered and nurtures them. In the same way, God cares for and nurtures us, and rescues us from sin through Christ. So the point is God has always given, and continues to help us in more ways than we can ever help others.

James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom, which he hath promised to them that, love him?

James 1:2-8 2 Peter 1:2-8 (King James Version) 2Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Today, we have to look at how we can minister to the poor. We have to take the necessary time to feed those who are hungry, to put roofs over those that are homeless. Thru out the Bible you will find where it talks about taking care of those less fortunate. When I hear about those that are hungry, no shoes on their feet, no place to lay their head down at night, I get sick to my stomach. I want to do Gods will but I know that I cannot do it alone. However, if I do not start it somewhere, how can others follow? Each of us has something to give. Some have wealth, some have talents, and some have time. Whatever gifts we have been given, large or small, we should share generously. When we do, we make the world better for someone else and find true meaning and satisfaction in our own lives.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

God bless each of you my friends, and if you are in need, please reach out and let others know. If you have extra, please help those less fortunate.

"Deborah"

For many years, I have wondered about my sister’s name and never thought to ask why mom and dad spelled it Deborah. Today, I decided to ask. The response rather shocked me. God loved a strong willed woman in the Bible called Deborah.

I have read the story about Deborah a few times and never got just how important she was. So today, I sat down and listened to a tape on the Book of Judges, chapter 4 and 5. I was so fascinated.

The story of Deborah is found in the Book of Judges Chapters 4-5. Deborah is one of few women Prophets in the Bible. That in itself to me is amazing. After 20 years of oppression, God told Deborah that it was time to deliver the people once again. She appointed Barak to lead the army, but he was afraid to go without her. "If you will go with me, I will go; if not I will not go." "Very well, I will go with you," Deborah agreed, but adds "However, there will be no glory for you in the course you are taking, for then the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman" She had deep faith in God. She united the people of Israel and led them to victory against the Canaanites. Barak conquered Sis Era and delivered Israel from the oppression of the Canaanite King Yavin. Deborah had told Barak what would happen and she would be correct, for actually, Jael would take Sisera’s life, so both Jael and Deborah are remembered as the real leaders.

Deborah is the only female judge listed in the Bible. The men would come and listen to her give judgments under the palm trees. Back in those days a woman was not allowed to be in a house with a man, this was improper.

This highlights the two chapters of Judges for you, I hope that you will find interest and read the whole story. I cannot emphasis enough how the Bible is the best story telling book available to you. It is full of great people like Deborah.

Are you a Prophetess for God? I love the Lord and I pray that one day He will say to me Daughter, Job well done. God bless you all, my friends!

Dealing and Overcoming Fear

Someone very dear to me is battling an illness that has them overwhelmed, angry, sad, and full of fear. As I pray for them, I feel such tightness in myself, a feeling I wish I could release. I want to be able to reach out to this person and fill them with God’s love. I want them to fear no one but God. There are two different types of fear, so I want to see if I can explain the difference based on what the Bible says about it. I pray that if you too are battling a disease or illness that you will reach out for God and ask for peace and comfort, then trust in it.

Fear of the Lord brings with it many blessings and benefits. It is the beginning of wisdom and leads to good understanding.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. Psalm 111:10

Fear of the Lord leads to life, rest, peace, and contentment.

The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
Proverbs 19:23.

In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. It is the fountain of life and provides a security and a place of safety for us.27The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.  Proverbs 14:26 &27

I hope these above scriptures give you a better understanding of fearing God. Now, let me try to explain fear in the earthly sense. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” No one is the same with it comes to love, but all can love the same if they know God “There is no fear in love. However, perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. I would say that to overcome fear, then, is to have complete trust in God. Trusting God is a refusal to give in to fear. It is a turning to God even in the darkest times and trusting Him to make things right. This trust comes from knowing God and knowing that He is good. As Job said when he was experiencing some of the most difficult trials recorded in the Bible, (Job 13:15 KJV). Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

What does fear look like? You tell me… The Healer to me looks like and is JESUS!

My friend ask for Jesus to Heal you today…

I hope that this will help you in giving over your fears to God and realize that He loves you. Trust Him my friends. God bless you this day!

Glorifying God

Today I just want to take time and Give God Glory and thank Him for giving me life. These past few days with no air have been difficult, because out of that came anger, frustration and temperament. God does not need thanks as we do, but He sure appreciates them. Giving thanks reminds us constantly of His goodness. We should always want to acknowledge Him as the Giver.

1 Chronicles 16:29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Psalms 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

I call upon God a lot, and I am sure lately I have driven Him nuts with all my questions. I tell you I do not know what I would do if I didn’t have God as my best friend. I have cried to Him so much lately, and He always listens to me, and shows me that with Trust comes much more. I am smiling here today, just giving God all the Glory and Praise for loving me.

Father thank you for delivering me from the heat and allowing things to fall into place as you always do. Thank you for all the healing this week too, you are so awesome. I give you all the Glory and Praise. I love you so much Father. Thank you Father in Jesus name, Amen!

The climbing Temperatures

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Genesis 9:11 And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there anymore be a flood to destroy the earth.

The heat of the summer has been very hard on so many people this year. I have had to learn the hard way this past week as my air conditioner in my house went out. The temperature has been some of the hottest we have had in years, with the nights staying daytime temperatures. As for myself it has caused breathing difficulties, with me having asthma. So many have been rushed to hospitals in past few days as the heat index rises. These days have put me in full prayer mode for all those that don’t have any kind of air available to them as we go thru the changing weather.

When I read the Bible this morning, the above scripture was what I focused on. The Lord gave us control of all things here on earth, with our so-called intelligence, we have created the nice cars, the plants, etc, and we created all the pollution that has caused many of the changes in the atmosphere. God did not give this to us; He just gave us control over all things here on earth. I realize just how important being right with God is. This heat will just continue to rise if you are not right with God; there is a great chance you will be in a hell pit of fire eternally if you are not living a life with God in it. I know I am not willing to risk my salvation and opportunity to live in Heaven with my Heavenly Father.

Mt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

If you have felt the effects of the heat this summer, think about how this heat is nothing compared to what an eternity of heat will be. A heat that is indescribable. I sit here with a fan on me and I feel miserable, but my soul is safe for I know I am a child of Gods, I know I won’t burn in eternity, I shall see the face of the Lord and live with Him in the next realm. If you have air conditioning in your house, thank God for blessing you, but also ask for protection over those who do not. If you are on the rocks and not sure if, you are ready to live a life of love, understanding, hope, and faith. Go outside for a while and feel the heat upon your skin. Think of the worst burn you could possibly ever get and imagine that for eternity. That won’t even be a inkling of what it will actually be.

Sure, I am miserable right now, but I know its temporary, but I did learn more about what an awesome God we have and how I look forward to the day I can be with Him. I love my Lord and Savior and I ask His blessing on my life and all that love Him. If you are going without air right now, I ask God for a cool wind to blow over you and me. There is no greater love than the love the Lord has for us.

God bless you my friends, think about your future today…

"Back to King David"

Back to King David…Did you know that King David was a peeping tom, adulterer and even a murderer? Let us look into each of these and see how they relate to the world today.

He was a peeping tom, who spied on Bathsheba at her bath, and an exhibitionist who exposed himself to a crowd of Jerusalemites. Once he seemed a coward, pretending to be mad to avoid conflict. In one of his most sleazy episodes, he conspired to have Bathsheba's husband killed, and he lied and murdered many times in his life.

The Second Book of Samuel (11:2-4) gives the account of King David who saw a woman bathing from his palace roof. When he asked after her, he was told that she was Bathsheba, daughter of Eliam and wife of Uriah the Hittite. David had his messengers retrieve her, and after they slept together, she became pregnant with his child. Under David's order Uriah was ordered to return home and see his wife, Uriah repeatedly refused to leave his post or leave the King's presence to see her. David was able to marry Bathsheba by sending Uriah into battle where he was killed. When I read this, I ask myself, did King David kill Uriah, no not personally, he did not, but he did have his army to retreat from him, which in turn caused him to be murdered. So again, I ask myself did King David kill Uriah. In my personal opinion, yes, he did…and think about that he not only did that, but he wanted Uriah to come home and visit his wife while she was pregnant. How uncomfortable that must have been, since it was his baby, not Uriah’s from his adulterous affair they had.

Salvation is repentance towards God and faith in Christ Jesus (Acts 20:21). This is exactly what David does, as you will see in the Bible. Luke 15:24,32 (24) For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. (32) It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

Despite all this, David was the chosen of God, anointed by the prophet Samuel. His name, in fact, means "beloved," and the Bible says he was "a man after God's own heart. The best way I know how to explain why God chose David is that even thru all the bad that David did, breaking every law possible, He still followed God’s will. Please note here that life was not easy, there were consequences, such as Bathsheba losing her baby. The Prophet Nathan would visit David and put it all in perspective for him. We will get into Nathan at another time.

The story of David is not only amazing but very complicated. David was in his 70’s at time of death, so think about all that happened in his life in a short period of time. I hope you will find interest in getting into the Bible and learning more about King David and how he overcame his sins. Yes, he was a guilty man, but the Lord knew the heart of this young man, and knew that He would be the chosen one to lead the Israelites. Does this mean he did not have to suffer, no of course not, there is so much more to this story. Was he free of what the scripture plainly says your place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur? “This is the second death" (Rev. 21:8). If these sins are committed we all face this death, there is only one way to get out of it and that is to be a child of Gods, to be forgiven for all your sins, to be humbled before God and most importantly to live a life after God, following His laws and being thankful. Always give Praise and Glory to God as King David did. See King David loved the Lord and ask for that forgiveness, Will You?

I ask today that if you do not know our Lord and Savior that you take time out of this earthly schedule and come before Him and ask for Him to come into your life. We all like to put off till tomorrow, but let me tell you folks, tomorrow will be a gift if it comes, you need to know Jesus today. I thank God for this brief study on King David and I ask that He allow it to bring something into your life as it has mine.

God bless you my friends.

King David

“King David” is still being talked about thousand years after his time, He starts the New Testament of the bible from verse one in Matthew 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. You will also find where David is still being talked about in the book of Revelation in chapter 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

There are aspects in his life that are still a mystery. So let us see what we can find out about this brave kid, as he becomes an adult. David was the youngest of eight kids; his primary job was to watch his dad’s flocks. David was a skilled harp player; he was even summoned by the King of his time, King Saul to play for him. I know each of you that have children are very proud of them at different times in their life, I am sure at this time that David’s father Jesse (Ruth 4:22 Jessie And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.) was very proud to have a son who was going to be playing for the King himself. Just imagine getting a call to have your child play for the President of the U.S.

I personally have questions, so I am going to try to find the answers. What is the connection between Jesus, and David, who lived a thousand years earlier? Why do Matthew and Luke need us to understand that Jesus is a descendent of David? What does it mean for Jesus to be the "Son of David"?

I think most of us are aware that Jesus was born in the City of David, Bethlehem, where we found David being anointed by Samuel. (Matthew 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham) gives the proof that Jesus, in His humanity, was a direct descendant of Abraham and David through Joseph, Jesus' legal father. In Luke chapter 3 we find Jesus' lineage through His mother, Mary. Jesus is a descendant of David, by adoption through Joseph, and by blood through Mary. Jesus was the fulfilled prophesy. Jesus' lineage is provided twice -- once in Matthew 1:1-17 and once in Luke 3:23-38. At this time these scriptures totally confuse me, they are similar yet so far apart. This is something I give to the Lord for wisdom.

We know that God is rejected as king. Moreover, the people wanted a king, but not Jesus, and we know that Jesus could have been ugly about the whole situation, but He was not, because we know that God supplied the people of their time the best possible earthly king that they could have. David was a man whose heart was fully devoted to the Lord. We find testimony to that not only in the fabulous collection of Psalms that he wrote, but also in what other people said about him throughout the rest of the Bible. Even as mean as the Israelites were to God, He still was good to them, because you see that is the kind of God and King that He is. We also know that the prophesy would be fulfilled, because Jesus would become the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Precious Precious Father I come to you in the name of Jesus asking for wisdom and knowledge about your word the Bible. As I study and look for the things I feel you want me to share with the world I find many aspects of David’s life that I don’t have enough knowledge to share with others, so please touch my spirit and mind and give me the word that you want to get across. I ask for hearts and minds of wisdom for those who will read this. Father we thank you that the prophesy was fulfilled for we have the best Father, you have given us so much and have blessed us beyond anything we are worthy are. Thank you this day for the healing touch on my sister’s life, and the many more healings to come. In Jesus Holy Name I pray, Amen!

“The Mighty David”

I love the story of David in the Bible, such a heroic young boy.

1 Samuel 17:38-51 (King James Version)

38And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. 39And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him. 40And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine. 41And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him. 42And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance. 43And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field. 45Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. 46This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. 47And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands. 48And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. 49And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth. 50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David. 51Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.

David was able to kill Goliath because he was of sound mind, not because of physical strengths. He had a firm belief in God. He chose his weapon with the sense that God gave him. He knew what his limitations were and knew he could not face this man without asking God for help. I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied ...That was David’s main weapon of choice.

Is there any better weapon than the Lord? Just be yourself and use the familiar gifts and talents God has given you. He will work miracles through you. Take advantage of your strengths as David did and watch what happens. If we look at giant problems and impossible situations from God's perspective, we realize that God will fight for us and with us. There is a lot more to David’s story besides the battle with Goliath, so I do hope you will take time to read more. You will find it in 1 samuel.

I ask God’s blessings on your life my friends.

Uncontrollable tears!

When was the last time you found yourself crying, crying and crying, you just could not stop? I start crying uncontrollably, I can't sleep at night and I've distanced myself from all of my friends. I don't want to do anything anymore. God sets apart those who sigh and cry about the evils in the world because they are learning to think and care as He does.

“And the Lord said to him, ‘Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it’” (Ezekiel 9:4; see Genesis 6:5-6 and Matthew 23:37 for examples of God grieving for evil). The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight .Mark 1:3

Those tears of Adam and Eve were warranted, they went against the one thing they had been asked not to do. The serpent had hold over them, telling them how good the fruit was on the tree of life. Does this mean God wouldn’t forgive her and Adam? No, sure God was disappointed, but He loved them, they were made in His own image, however things would never be the same, as they aren’t for us either.

I have spent much time this year in uncontrollable tears, not knowing if I would ever feel like moving forward with life, feeling lonely, my life was a whirlwind of emotions. I used each of those tears to write, in hopes I could help someone else that might be going thru some of the same things I was. God wants us to cry out to Him, but He also wants us to leave them with Him, for His word says: Psalms 56:8 Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? As Christians and be able to weather life's storms we must realize that Jesus loves us very much. He laughs with us in good times and cries with us in sad times. Jesus is always with us to comfort us.

John 11:35 Jesus wept. The Bible speaks of Jesus crying on numerous occasions. Jesus understands our tears; He knows that we hurt, especially as a Christian. Do not fall into the hands of Satan as Adam and Eve did, walk towards Jesus and ask that He hold you, no matter what you may be facing in your own personal life. He will never leave you. Jesus is storing your tears, allow Him to, and take your joy back.

The Bible tells us to "...weep with those who weep" (Romans 12:15). Jesus wept in compassion when He saw Mary and Martha's grief at the loss of their brother, Lazarus. Tears of others may move us to compassion and action as we sense the hurt that caused them. Live your life with Jesus through tears and laughter, help others along the way. I am smiling as I share this today for I know without a shadow of a doubt my tears are bottled up with Jesus this day to soon be released.

I too hope you find this same joy with Jesus Christ. Praise His Holy Name!

Adam and Eve the First Sinners

Genesis 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Adam and Eve knew that they were naked. A change in their thinking—in their perspective, in the way they looked at things, this made them aware. Do you see what they did here; they hid themselves from God, ashamed of the fact that they were naked. When just minutes earlier they saw nothing wrong with the same nakedness, for see there was nothing wrong with it.

Suddenly, however, they felt guilt and fear, and it seemed as if every creature in the Garden had witnessed their act and condemned them.

Nothing is the same for anyone of us once we have sinned.

Sin creates a feeling of abandonment from God, on our parts leaving our minds confused, sometimes to the point it makes us create even bigger sins. We have to get in align with God immediately, and get His forgiveness. David expresses how this tarnish affected him in Psalm 40:12, "My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up." Paul later explains, "To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscious are defiled" (Titus1:15)

Do you want to be devoured with Satan in sin? If you continue on a path of disruption and anger and sin, you will. The one thing we can learn from Adam and Eve is that sin is not of God, but we are blessed that He allows us to realize we have sinned, giving us the opportunity to make it right.

Admit your sin to God.
Trust Jesus Christ to forgive your sins -to make you right with God and restore true joy. Call upon the Lord with thanksgiving for all that He is for you in Jesus Christ.  Turn from sin’s deceitful and empty promises to faith in God’s promises.

God wants us to be free to live in the Garden of Eden as He wanted Adam and Eve in the beginning, where He gave them claim over all animals.

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

Solomon 2 12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Matthew 6:26

Matt. 6:26 as Jesus sat on the hillside teaching He pointed to the birds overhead and said, "Look at the birds of the air, they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" Jesus points our eyes to the birds as illustrations of God's care. He also said not a sparrow falls without God's knowledge. When he sought for an illustration of what he wanted His disciples to be, He urged them to be wise as serpents but harmless as doves. He used birds in His parables of the sower and the mustard seed, and on other occasions. The very first image we have of God in the Bible is in Gen. 1:2 where we see the Spirit of God hovering over the face of the waters. The image is of a bird without spread wings fluttering over its nest protectively. Genesis 2 19And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature that was the name thereof.

I cannot even imagine sitting down and getting to name all the animals that exist here on earth, how privileged Adam was. The next time you look at something, remember where it got its name. I do not know about you but it makes me wonder how and where Adam got the names. God had already filled him with knowledge. I find, as I get older I notice things more. Just as I did the two birds in the picture, I saw the beautiful mixture of color, the orange, grey, browns, blacks and those little orange webfeet, to the beauty of the aquamarine and brown in the other little bird. God put all these colors together so that we could have beauty surrounding us. I want you to take a walk around your yard and just admire the sounds, listen as the birds chirp or the squirrels climb the trees, even the dogs barking in the distance, check out the colors in the butterfly and remember God set them all here for us. Take off your colored glasses and see the real beauty.

Psalm8:3-9 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 what is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: 7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; 8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. 9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Jesus is my BFF, Who is yours?

The surrounding beauty is amazing as I walk through the Creation gardens today. I felt like I was in Heaven. I was seeking a new peace today as I had brought my Bible and ask Jesus to be with me. It is 83 degrees, cloudy feels as if the Heavens are going to open up. As I start on the trail I look back and see a sign “Prepare to Believe”, that gave me all the assurance I needed. As you walk into the garden, you cross a bridge that shows just how beautiful things to come are going to be. The thought crosses my mind, how could Jesus not be with me, as I felt a breeze blow over my shoulder. The mighty Breeze of God Himself. The sound of God walking in the garden. This is what the wind meant to me. As I continue my journey thru this beautiful garden with God I just want to shout out to all those walking past me, don’t forget to take Jesus with you as you walk this trail today. I sat at this rock and a woman approached and said I see you have the best book ever written with you, and I say yes I sure do, but even better, I have the author with me. The woman smiled and said I know what you mean, and I knew she did. As I continued, I saw the most awesome flowers.

The scent woke my senses, just as the fragrance of Jesus does. Song of Solomon 1:3 Because of the savor of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee. When you walk with the Lord through the gardens of your life you will find a peace unknownst to you, you will enjoy the scents and lively butterflies and even the bees as they seek their honey. Today I made a realization, my hopes and dreams are not just a mere dream anymore. All things are possible if I take Jesus with me as I did today. I came to the garden alone, I brought Gods word and I ask Jesus to walk with me. He was there in the garden with me. I was never "alone". Today I found peace of mind, peace of heart and peace of soul. I pray that the next time you walk through your garden that you will take God with you. I am passionate about Jesus Christ and His Word. From this passion flows my desire to be obedient to God and to know and fulfill His purpose for me as a Christian. God longs to walk with you, which is why his arms of grace have been pulling you into a closer walk with him. Thank you for walking and talking with me today on this journey through the garden. Praise You Father, in Jesus Holy Name! Amen!

“Loving God’s Creation”

Micah 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea

God’s creatures are so much more marvelous than anything human beings can make. Their variety is almost beyond imagination. Let us begin to understand ourselves as partners with all God’s creatures in God’s ongoing creation. Join me on a visit to the zoo . . . but this time with new eyes. Let’s take God with us. He created all living things “according to their kind” (Genesis 1:21). A trip to the zoo can be used to glorify God. I found there are many fascinating truths about the animals while researching some of the most unique, at least to me, for instance did you know the giraffe’s heart is the largest of any land animal because it must pump blood all the way to its head. The polar bear’s fur is made of clear hollow tubes, for trapping the sun’s heat. The elephant’s trunk has over 40,000 muscles, while the entire human has only a few hundred muscles. The one animal that was a must see for me was the lions, as I personally relate so much I know about God to this land animal. The lion is mentioned more than 100 times in Scripture, so he plays an important role in God’s revelation, not only as a mighty creation but also as a spiritual warning. Jesus Christ was prophesied to be the Lion of Judah (Genesis 49:9Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he crouched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?). By dying on the Cross-as an innocent lamb, He overcame death, the world, and the devil. His humble sacrifice for sin illustrates His love and mercy, and shows His worthiness to rule forever over His people.

God marvelously illustrates Christ’s power, strength, and great purpose through this beautiful beast, the lion.

Picture taken at the Cincinnati, Ohio Zoo by Brenda Redmond.

One says that the eyes are the gateway to the soul, when I see this beautiful Lion it touches my soul as I feel its majesty defines who our Heavenly Father is. Jesus is described as "The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." John 1:29 Jesus identified Himself with all the innocent animals who had been sacrificed for the sins of mankind and declared that His was the final sacrifice.

All along God had the creation planned out, from the creatures of the seas down to the lion. Even as He had told Noah to bring two of all animals onto the ark. He loves us so much; He gives us bountiful beauty all around us. The next time you take a trip to the zoo take time to actually study the animals as I did, and then just be AMAZED by Gods beautiful work.

Wolves and sheep will live together in peace, and leopards will lie down with young goats, calves and lion cubs will feed together, and little children will take care of them. Cows and bears will eat together, and their calves and cubs will lie down in peace. Lions will eat straw as cattle do . . . The land will be as full of knowledge of the Lord as the seas are full of water." Isaiah 11:6-9

Taking God on Vacation

It is that time of year when I take a vacation; this time around, I am heading to Kentucky and Ohio. Looking forward to going to the Genesis Creation Museum and the Ohio zoo. I have seen pictures of the Museum and its overwhelming so I can only imagine how beautiful It will be.

There is the excitement, the thrill, the laughter, the anticipation of heading somewhere new. I am just as excited about this vacation as I was when I was a young kid, even though now is much different, as a kid we camped and played in the nearby creeks, but now I go for the resort hotel with all the amenities, without the bugs and mosquitoes. I wonder why I can’t feel this way all the time, I know that Jesus awaits my arrival in Heaven one day, but for now He has given me this earth as a huge playground of sorts. I have to make this vacation the best I have ever had here on earth, cause Gods word tells us He will return soon, just check out Revelations 22: 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Do you know how we get excited for vacation because we know we get away from everything and everyone for a whole week? I was thinking about this today, when it hit me, there is one I have never ever wanted to get away from and I feel that I am so blessed that He is always with me, even on vacation Jesus will be there, to protect and guide.

If you are able go to a church and fellowship with others while on vacation you should and do not neglect reading the bible and praying too. Remember that God is permitting you to take time away from worldly things, not a vacation from Him. Remember to thank God for the beauty on the way while travelling as well as when you get there.

Tthere are many benefits to having God tag along with you on vacation, such as He will protect you and your family, if you ask Him to. He will provide you with more joy than you can make for yourself. He will help you remember your faith, so others can see Him shining through you. He will help you avoid temptations that vacation can bring. So when preparing, don’t forget to ask your best friend to go along with you. He is just waiting on you to ask.

Enjoy God’s creation. Relax and rejuvenate. Just do not leave home without the one who made it all possible. GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Father, today as I prepare for vacation I step back at look at what that means and I know I don’t want to go alone, so Father will you please go on this vacation with me and remind me to look at all that surrounds me. I am so excited to know that you will be coming with me on this trip. Thank you for loving me enough to take time out for me. I love you Jesus, today, tomorrow and always forever and a day. Amen!

Is your house clean?

You ever wish you could just throw everything out and go shopping for all new stuff for your home. To just be able to get new carpet, have someone come in and clean all the windows, and the closets. To start with, a clean house, a new base one might say.

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, Behold all things are become new."

Things become new as we let go of the old. The former things of this life must die and be buried and stay buried. Luke 11:25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.

Do you ever realize how we put things off, there are dirty dishes in the sink, they are not going anywhere, I will do them later, or I really need to change the water filters so I can have pure water to drink, oh I will just pick some up at the store. I really should change the cat litter, oh but it will be ok, no one is coming over today, I will get it tomorrow. Does any of this sound familiar to you? All too many times have I put something off that I should of just done and got it over with. Eventually, all the little things pile up to a point where we can ignore them no longer. When we reach that point, it's time to grit our teeth, and get down to business.

Lately I have found that dealing with sin is quite like this, we have to start weeding thru what we are doing wrong in our lives and throwing it out so we can make room for Christ. Each day becomes a struggle, and the more you put it off the worse its going to get. Do you really have time to put such an important thing off? The more frequently and diligently we do this, the cleaner our spirit will be. If we neglect this task entirely, it will not take long before we are wading in the trash of the world, and it will just get deeper and deeper. It’s the little sins that keep eating away at us until they become so overwhelming and pushed under the rug per say. It is time to sit down and make a list of your daily chores, clean your house as if Jesus is coming to dinner. When making this list make sure you include time to go and dump your spiritual and physical sins, when driving off make sure you take nothing back with you, for once you give it to God, that’s what He does, He trashes it forever. So clean out your spirit with Jesus at hand and leave all your sin, worry and cares at the dump.

When you realize that all of us have sinned passed the point of recovery, but how blessed are we that we have a Father who loves us and forgives us just because it is His will for us. He wants you home and your spiritual home pure and clean. So take that step today to get in line with Gods will for you.

Now that you have cleaned your house, fill it with good things that will point you to God and encourage wholesome living. Consider Colossians 3:1- 2 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

God bless you as you start cleaning your house and your spirit~

Who was Barabbas?

Dragged before the Roman governor Pilate, Barabbas was outwardly defiant but inwardly terrified. The crowd was screaming for blood--his blood. But wait. Barabbas listened again to the shouting crowd. They did not want his blood; they were demanding his freedom! Barabbas is mentioned in all four Gospels during their descriptions of the trial of Jesus. In Luke 23:19, Barabbas is listed as being in prison for murder. 7And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.

Did you ever think about how Barabbas was the first beneficiary of the cross of Christ? In a way, his cross-had been carried by the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, Barabbas became a free man, while Christ was crucified. Even as Pilate and his wife were against this all happening, the people voted differently. Pilate washed his hands of all this, he did not want to be responsible for what was about to take place. Jesus was attacked, tears run down my face as I realize once again the pain and agony that Jesus paid for you and me. This all could have been stopped, but Jesus knew He had to go thru all of this to save us for our sins… Thank you Jesus with all my heart and soul, I just thank you!

While Jesus is being beaten, where is Barabbas? Fearful that the people would change their minds, Barabbas fled into the morning, retreated to the back streets of Jerusalem, and disappeared from history.

One may ask, did Barabbas ever wonder about the innocent man who had taken his place on the cross that day -- the one who died in his place? Did he repent? Did he believe? Or did the reprieved Barabbas continue to live as a criminal? What is your thought? More importantly and all that matters is that if he got right with the man who took his place that day, Jesus Christ….

The arrest and execution of Jesus Christ was the greatest travesty of justice that has ever occurred.

Be sure to read Mark 15 to see more of this story, also you can find it in other New Testament books, such as Luke and John. Please step away from whatever you are doing and thank your Precious Father for this day, and for the beatings that He took for you and me. Once again and eternally Father I love you, and Praise you. God bless you all my friends.

“The arms of Strength”

Psalms 18:32-36 32 it is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. 33 He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places. 34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. 35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. 36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

The word strength means mental power, force, vigor, moral power, firmness, and courage. Our strength comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. In Philippians 4:13 we read," I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. “Also found in II Corinthians 12:9,"... and he said to me, ' my grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. ‘Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." During a lifetime, we will face some of life's trials and tribulations. No one is immune to them. These will be several upsets along the way as well as losses, such as a loss of a job, failure in a relationship, or the death of a loved one, to name a few. All God ask of us is to be strong and trust in Him. As 2 Samuel reads, God is our Strength.

God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.2 Samuel 22:33

Deuteronomy11:8Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;

Depend on our own strength, or receive strength from God? The answer found in Scripture is clear. It is a blessing and a benefit to receive strength from God by studying His Word. I hope that each of you will pick Gods word up and look at all the scripture on strength, and realize that you cannot exist on earth without Gods strength.

God bless you this day with the strength of a lion: and may He carry you in His arms as the wings of an eagle.

Food for thought!

I sit here wondering, why am I even writing today, don’t seem to be anyone reading . I know I write because the Lord led me to, and I do not want to let Him down. So I ask God what should I write about today. Food comes to mind. So I just ask for direction and give Glory and thanks to our Heavenly Father for all that He has given to me and I also ask for His divine forgiveness today.

1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. 3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

"Have you eaten?" Jesus gave the people bread to eat but He wanted to give them even more. He wanted to give them The Bread of Life that would satisfy their every need.

Christians, and well, people in general, are but mere seeds. Within our bodies, are our souls, our spirits, and our minds. We have the potential to be whatever our heart desires. Within us is both good and evil, it is our choice to decide what side we act upon. See food isn’t always in the form of what we put into our bodies, there is also the food of life that we also put into our bodies, but this time using our minds. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

(Psalm 34:10) Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. (Psalm 37:3) And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

--Joel 2:26Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. (Matthew 6:25-32)

These above scripture says it all, We shall want for nothing, God is the all sufficient one, Trust in Him for all your needs. When I started writing and the Lord said food, of course what came to mind was food as in I am hungry, my stomach is growling, even though I personally wasn’t hungry. I am always hungry for God’s word and wisdom. I hope you will look Heavenly for all your needs, Trust God to fill you!

God bless you this day!

JESUS IS THE WAY!

I am the way, the truth, and the life; NO MAN cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME.” — Jesus Christ (John 14:6)

Jesus Christ is the one and only way to get to Heaven!

To get to Heaven, first you have to know Jesus Christ, maybe today is the day that you need to start fresh. A changed life is the result of genuine repentance (2nd Corinthians 5:17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. We don't give up our sins to get saved; we give up our sins because WE ARE SAVED. God makes the change. Salvation is by grace through faith alone in Christ (Ephesians 2:8, 9). For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

It seems to me if you ask others what it takes to get to Heaven, you get many wrong answers, the one I love the most is, I go to church every Sunday, my 2nd favorite is well I do a lot more good things than I do bad. You know this brings tears to my eyes. Sure it is great to go to church, this is where you need to get to know Jesus, a place to learn the bible, to sing praises to the Lord, but one thing its not is a place to go and see who is wearing what and to get caught up on the latest gossip. As for the second thing, you can do good all day long, everyday, but if you don’t know Jesus it does you no good.

Did you know that the Bible says that nobody is good enough to get into heaven? Each one of us has broken God's commandments--not one person is accepted. You have personally lied and committed other sins.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

However, God loved you enough to send His only begotten Son to die for your sins. The Bible says, "... and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matt 1:21).

I believe if you have read all of this up to here, you have the point that you have to know Jesus to get to Heaven. One of the hardest things for us is to recognize that we are all sinners, so that is step one, look at yourself and realize you can’t do this alone, then get on bended knee and repent all your sins and ask for forgiveness, to receive this forgiveness you have to trust and believe in God and His son. Then you have to make a conscious effort to make God your savior. If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, KJV). Invite Jesus into your life, and live your life according to His plan for you.

“ARE YOU ON FIRE FOR THE LORD”

Perhaps the greatest challenge to our faith and to our spiritual growth is when the storms of life begin to howl. Finding Jesus in the midst of the storm and being able to praise Him despite our pain is one of the critical steps on the journey toward growing spiritually. We might not at first consider these trials as "gifts" but these " gifts “are important in our spiritual growth if we will lean into God's purpose in them. Isaiah 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

I don’t know about you but I am on fire for God, and being passionate in my walk with the Lord. I know the alternative and that fire is of brimstone and Hell. We sometimes feel we are in hell now, but this is nothing compared to what the real Hell will be. See here on earth we can walk away from our mistakes and start a life anew with our Lord, asking for His divine forgiveness, once in the real hell there is no going back. The devil knows his time is very limited and as a result, he is pulling out all the stops. He is not only raging mad but he will do whatever it takes to try and beat you down and destroy those of you who are on the fence. The Lord wants us to have courage under fire. He wants us to remain obedient and faithful knowing that Satan's time to destroy is short and through the blood of Jesus Christ, we will overcome. God wants us to be extravagant in seeking His lost sheep. God wants us to rejoice in every lost person's return. God wants us to embrace his vision for our lives, which means going outside of your own home to reach the lost.

I like to look at it as an investment into my future. We spend our time, money and energy investing in a safety net for the future here on earth, but seldom think about what our future has in store for us.
I used to think it was my age, I’m getting older and maybe a little wiser, but as I watch the news, and read the paper I realize there are more and more young dyeing everyday. Was they prepared? As a parent, had you taken the steps necessary to make sure they knew Jesus Christ? In the kingdom of Heaven, God is the investor. He has placed His possessions in our hands to watch over...our time, our talents, our money, and He looks for a good return. Are you being obedient? Have you thanked God today for all that He has lent to you, including your children? Are you walking in faith and trusting God for a future with him. If not it is time you too get on fire for God and start being passionate about life and taking that walk with Him.

“Feeling Desolate”

We enter into this wilderness feeling lost and confused, lonely and abandoned. Formerly so self-sufficient and so capable of taking care of ourselves, now our hands are empty and our hearts are filled with grief. Try as we may, we cannot reach the wellspring of our souls. We are thrown by necessity back onto ourselves, but we are no help at all. ... The more control we lose over our lives, the more meaningless everything seems, and the more we try to control. We must acknowledge our weakness so that we may lean upon the strength of God; we must admit our fear so that we may receive the courage of God; ... and that we declare ourselves lost so that we may take the leading hand of God.

Let go of all that is not of God and attach to everything that is. Jeremiah 13:16 Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness , and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.

In this life we have mountain top experiences. Those times when we stand on the mountain viewing the above clouds and see the sun shining. We forget about the trials and troubles we face, and the cares of life that weigh us down. We forget about the attacks the enemy has made against our soul. We enter into a time of rejoicing because the shadows, which encompass us disappear.

Maybe you feel you are lost out in the desert, where the land is barren, the water has dried up. The air has eaten up all your oxygen, you just feel drained, lifeless. You look at the clouds differently, where does the flat land meet the mountain? Folks there is a place where you can get renewed energy and fill that thirst. Are you ready? It is a place where everything is perfect. The tranquility enraptures the soul and our strength is restored, it is the Garden just over the ridge, where you will find Jesus, He awaits you. I know you say a garden in the midst of a desert. He will walk and talk with you and listen as you tell Him what He already knows.

You took a wrong path in life, but it’s not too late, quit being stubborn and ask for directions, you too will find that garden, Jesus awaits you!

Where do you worship?

Where do you worship?

Worship God in the way that is acceptable to the Lord so we can go to heaven when this life is over. Jesus says in John 4:24, "God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

For us to worship God in spirit and in truth we must make sure we obey all of His commandments as given by Him in the Bible on how He is to be worshipped. Anything we do for God must be our very best. Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:37, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. All our heart, soul, and mind, or in other words, our total being must be in our worship. Did you know it is a privilege to get to worship God, a total honor?

His word is truth; we must worship Him according to His word. Here the Lord is telling us that everything we do in worship, we must have God's divine approval.

So, when do you pray?
Think about that for a moment. Think about when you pray before you start reciting the endless list in your head about why you don't have the time to pray that you think you should, would or could, if only. Take a deep breath, and ponder this for a moment. See, if you do not pray then you cannot be worshipping God either. Our hopes and dreams are also prayers. All be it not always spoken, our thoughts convey our desires to God.

How many of you lay down at night and start praying and before you know it you are asleep? Why is it some think nighttime is the only time you can pray, Do you believe that God only hears you then. I have news for you, God hears your ever thought 24/7, you make time to do the things you love, please don’t forget you would be nothing and have nothing if it wasn’t for the love of your Heavenly Father. It does not matter where you worship God, home, in car, at work, what matters is that you do.

Matthew 6:6.7 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

The answer here is that if you want Jesus to be in your life, it is an honor. All He ask in return is that you worship Him, Praise Him and Glorify His Holy Name. So the next time you feel yourself getting sleepy while praying, remind yourself that Jesus suffered so that you could have life and forgiveness, so please make time for Him before you get tired. I find myself praying all thru the day and night, I feel I can’t get enough of talking to Jesus, He is my best friend, He listens even when I am talking foolishly. See Jesus loves us, so get in private and talk to your best friend, Jesus Chist. Thank Him for giving you a promise of eternal life. I praise you this day Precious Father, and thank you for loving me and being my best friend, I ask for peace and your friendship for my friends. Thank you Father in Jesus name, Amen!

"Loving One Another"

JESUS’ LOVE

Deut. 1:11For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

When was the last time you shared Gods love with someone? If you are not sure about Gods love for you, and do not know how to share a love, you do not know yourself. "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). I love this verse because it says why we can cast our anxiety on God—because he cares for us. Imagine that! God, the creator of everything that exists, actually cares for you and me. The Ephesians did not fully grasp God's love for them either. In Revelations 2:4, Jesus accuses the Ephesians church of forsaking their first love. Jesus told the Ephesians that they had forsaken their first love and they needed to repent and do the things they did at first. Of course, here they are talking about the Church, but is there any difference in that love and the love we have for each other. Not in what I read in the Bible, God has that same love for us, and He wishes for us to love someone with a deep rooted love, to share this from one to another. In writing to the Ephesians Paul prayed that they would know the love of Christ (Eph 3:18). Paul said we are filled to the degree of love to which we know the love of Christ.

John, the beloved disciple, was at one time a member of the Ephesians church and he was famous for reminding people of the Father’s love toward us. “Love comes from God” (1 John 4:7). Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. “Real love isn’t our love for God, but his love for us” (1 John 4:10). Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the satisfaction for our sins. Our love flows out of, and is a response to, his love. He is our love-source. 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with your entire mind.' "This is the great and foremost commandment. (Matthew 22:37).
