"Failure or Victory"

A mature Christian has the ability to understand the amazing grace of God and His incredible forgiveness and acceptance through Christ, (as with Job) a mature Christian is one who has grasped the truth that his or her failure is not the end of an effective life with and for the Lord (as with Job). While there may be consequences to live with (as with David) and serious issues to work through, the mature believer rests in the grace of God and uses the failure as a backdoor to success through growth and understanding.

Will you live a victorious Christian life, or settle for defeat?
I used to believe the pastors had the perfect life; things had to be good for them because they were doing God’s work every week, but the truth is there is a lot of defeat in the Christian’s life because none of us will ever be perfect and win the victory over the sin. Christ is the only one who is sin free and He accomplished this on the cross when He gave His life. As we grow in the Lord, we will have much more deliverance and more capability Our deliverance and how much deliverance we have is all a matter of growth in your own Further, the amount of deliverance we each experience is a matter of growth; so on the road to maturity and even after reaching a certain degree of spiritual maturity, Christians will sin and fail—sometimes seriously so. We don’t like to talk about it or admit it, but there is a lot of failure. Failure is a fact of life for the Christian, but God’s grace is more than adequate to overcome any situation. The mature Christian is one who has learned to apply God’s grace remedy for failure.

In studying the Book of Job today I was able to see a victorious Christian, even though he was thrown much adversity. The book of Job also proves there are answers to the many challenges that satan makes. It was amazing to what extreme was handed to Job and how he overcame.

Do you know a “Job” in your life? There are still people who will serve God, no matter how much is thrown to them for God is worthy of our praise apart from the blessings He provides. That doesn't mean we won't have questions for which answers that we may not get during this lifetime. But with the book of Job we can learn how the righteous should suffer, how careful we should be in comforting the suffering, and to accept the fact that we can never fully comprehend how God is working in all our lives. We have to look at what would actually get to Job, It wasn’t the boils, or death of his children, or lose of all his animals; it came down to his words and the words of his friends. Job had his life taken from him, one that we can’t even comprehend. This is one story that took me back. To realize that God didn’t do this all to Job, but He did allow satan within boundaries to take all that Job had, because He knew that Job loved Him and His life would be spared. Job is an example that we all need to know about, so please take time and study this precious book, there are many lessons to be learned here. Most importantly for this blog I want you to see that failure happens to all, but how you come through it is what that matters. Job even saved his friends in the end, so that they too could have a life with Jesus. Be amazed at what God did for Job in his latter days. He was blessed with double livestock, blessed with 7 new sons and 3 daughters, he was able to have an inheritance for them, and God allowed having another 140 years here on earth so that he would see his family and their families to grow.

Job was a true Christian, are you?

If this is what you want for your life, ask Jesus into your life, ask for direction and guidance, and get into Gods word.

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my Salvation. The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. (Hab 3:17-19)

God bless you my friend, May you find eternal life through Christ.
