“Paul”

Romans 12:9 [Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
The book of romans was designed to lay a solid foundation for our Christian faith. If the foundation is built right, then the Christian life can be strong. This book in the bible has intrigued me for years. I will only highlight a little of it here in this blog (chapter1,1-16) however I do hope you will read the entire book as it does relate to a lot of people’s lives. In the book of Romans you will find how God spreads His good name by showing the world His grace.

This book is about the most remarkable man and His heart, his life and his death. This is one book that all Christians should hold close to their hearts. This book is allowing me to see life like I never have before. As I have been thru some terrifying times in my life of late, and I fell short from Gods word as I allowed others to drag me into their own lives struggles. I got pulled in, but I did nothing to escape, I only added to it, unfortunately allowing it to affect my health. I found myself being hurt mentally, but more importantly physically, taking me away from the situation was what God had in store for me but I didn’t adhere to His warnings, I stayed and joined in and added fuel to the fire by trying to get answers, silly answers at that, as to who it was that said what, which led me to lying to get the answers. As I prayed later I found it was too late to take back what I had done, all I could do was apologize and then give it to God for my own forgiveness. The book of Romans reminds me I should have walked away, and trusted God to handle the situation and followed my calling as Jesus had blessed me with. I am now recovering from the effects it had on my body, understanding more now than ever that this heart of mine only ticks as long as God allows it too, that I should never take even one breath for granted. I know God will put me back out there to bring souls to Him, but only when He knows I am strong enough to walk away from Satan’s ways.

To all those that hurt me, and that I hurt I ask for forgiveness and I pray they accept my apologies in Jesus Name.

The book of Romans centers on the Gospel of Christ (Rom. 1:16, 17). Paul is deeply concerned that his readers understand how a sinner may be received as righteous by a righteous God; and how a justified sinner should live daily to the glory of God. This amazes me every time I read it. God wants you to know that He accepts you, no matter what kind of sin you have created; He wants you to admit your sin and ask Him for His forgiveness, so that you can start to live a life after Him. This book is basically Paul’s theology. He is here (Rome) to do what God sent Him to do, then He will move on as He says, he wants to go to Spain. Paul is only a man, but because of what God called him to do, he is a man used to preach Gods gospel. He was brought up as a child to know who God was, the spirit of God lives in Him, just as it does each of us. However Paul’s teachings come from God and only God, it is important that you know this. You can’t go and teach Gods word from what you hear, unless you hear it from God. Paul is putting himself in line with other great men and prophets of God. One difference may be that in the OT they were servants of God, Paul considers himself a personal servant of Christ Jesus. Paul saw who he was, he was a mere table server for the Lord, and his mission was to teach about God, then move on. This was his calling. Paul was there to keep the church going. Are you called by God? Are you following His word, His message to you? I was, then I got lost, but I didn’t go far, because God called me back in line, to continue bringing the lost sheep back home. I hope you will find interest and take time to get into a bible study and find out what all Paul did have to say in the book of Romans. I will continue teaching this book as long as the Lord leads me to. Paul’s job was to teach all, to leave no one out; he did not discriminate against anyone, as I will not either. The word of the gospel is for all of us; it’s our job to get the word out there as it was Paul’s calling. Paul says he was ready and eager to go to the Romans. It was more than an obligation for him to speak to the Romans. It was a privilege. It was a great opportunity. He wanted to do it.

Thank you for showing interest in what the Lord is leading me to do; I pray for you each and ask for Gods favor in your life.

God’s Beauty

God’s Beauty
In Pictures
&
Word

Beautiful pictures, wouldn’t you say?   All I see when I look at this is how much God must love us,

This is the kind of beauty we see; however real beauty is  in how the Lord sees’ things.

Real beauty is on the inside.
1 Peter 3:3-4 (King James Version) 3Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Physical beauty without the Lord's Spirit is nothing.
Proverbs 31:30-31 (King James Version) 30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. 31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Physical beauty is temporary.
Psalms 39:11 when thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah

The closer we live to the Lord, the more our outward appearance is transformed and made beautiful.
Acts 6:15 and all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

The Lord helps us reflect His beauty.
Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh [himself] with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth [herself] with her jewels.

God created the beauty of the heavens and the earth. The Lord is the Master Artist and we as His children can also use our gifts and talents to become artist.

God loves us all, We are surrounded with His beauty, but is your heart full of God’s beauty?

“Is God talking to you?”

You just know when God has spoken to you. Never doubt or let anyone tell you differently. There are so many false prophets these days you have to work even harder to get Gods truth out there for others. God planted a seed inside of me many years ago; I have felt this seed growing. When I was a teenager I wanted God to talk to me so bad, I wanted what others had. I wanted to be able to walk for Jesus and spread His name. I remember the first time God spoke to me and I knew it was He. I have felt Gods calling on my life for many years, but I have not known what to do with it or how to use it, until January 2010 when God spoke to me and said if you write it I will give you the words and encouragement. I was amazed at how God led me and directed me thru my first book, Heavens Door, and now that I am writing the second book, I am just elated that God says I am not thru with you my faithful servant. I have always believed in God and how He uses people in many different ways, I just never felt deserving, now as I am growing more with Christ I am figuring out God’s plan for my life.
Last night I had someone question why I write, that no one reads it that is lost, only those that know God already. This brought tears to my eyes, not because I knew he was wrong, but because His faith in God’s power showed in that statement. See Jesus just told me to write it, He would do the rest. I TRUST THIS! He has given me an open internet; He puts people around me that are lost. I know without any doubt that this tool will be made available as God sees fit. This same person is having so much mistrust in our churches of today, which I have to agree with him to a certain point, however fully I do not. My church is my heart; it is about me taking the time to get into Gods word, in prayer, and putting myself in reach of individuals that I am able to see living a life for God.

I listen as God talks, and I am praying for healing for this young man’s heart and turmoil that he has been put through. He is hungry for God’s love and understanding.

Hearing God's voice is something we all long for. Maybe He is talking to you right now and you just do not know what to do with it. First, I suggest you get in prayer and let God know you just are not sure, that you are scared. He wants you to hear Him. I know for myself, I never take it for granite, I listen, and then I pray about it. A couple of years ago I met a person who was telling me how excited they were about purchasing a new used truck. I got chills all over my body and did not understand what was happening, when out of my voice I spoke; please do not buy the black truck. This person was stunned, they said I did not tell you it was black and why shouldn’t I buy it? You just wanted to burst my bubble. They left abruptly.

Two weeks later to that day, I ran into this person again, they said they had been trying to find me; they had to tell me that after they had talked to me they got scared and did not buy the black truck. Two days later the guy that did purchase the truck was killed in a freak accident, they told me they just had to go to the dealership when they saw it on the news to see if it was the truck they was going to purchase. It was! They wanted to thank me for saving their life. I responded, I DID NOT, GOD DID, please give all the glory to God.

After this event, I never doubted when God has spoken to me. I will just be a witness for God and continue sharing His word, and continue Trusting Jesus to use me as He sees fit. Do not miss your opportunity to be a vessel for God.

Do you want to hear God's voice? If you do, it is possible you are hearing Him already, for He may be the one giving you the longing to hear Him. Jesus does talk to you! It is up to you if you listen.

God bless you my friends!

“Why should I let you in?”

Matthew 7:14 "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Do you know for sure that you are going to be with God in Heaven? If God were to ask you, “Why should I let you into My Heaven?” what would you say?

Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6) As a Christian, it is not you that claims the only way to heaven it is thru Jesus, because it was Jesus Himself who claimed it. Did you know the bible encourages us as Christians to examine our self to see if we really are in the faith? (2 Corinthians 13:5)

You will know you are saved, when you are.
Why should God let me into Heaven, I have two answers, I am saved by the Grace of God, and secondly, God died on the cross so that I may live.

I love God with my entire heart and soul, I profess I am a sinner and I thank Him for forgiving me for these sins. Those stripes He bore were because of my sin, not His; those nail driven holes in his hands were because I am a sinner, Not HIM! He came back to earth and walked as a man so that He could take our sins and leave them on that blood stained cross.

None of us has any legal rights to heaven, for “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Rom 3:23-24. We do not “deserve” heaven, and nothing we can do can change that. It is only through the blood of our Savior and Creator that heaven becomes attainable. By accepting Jesus’ offer through faith, we can, and we will, be saved! “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16-17

I thank you Jesus! PRAISE YOUR HOLY NAME!

I AM YOUR DAUGHTER, I AM SAVED, I WILL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH OR SINFREE TO GET INTO HEAVEN ON MY OWN, HOWEVER I AM BLESSED, BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE TO, WITH YOUR GRACE AND BLOOD YOU OPENED THE DOOR.

Will you knock at His door? Why should He let you into Heaven? What will your answer be?

"Death"

Dad will live in my heart and the memories will be forever. A day of reflection as today my heart is full of memories of my dad. He was the glue that held our family together. The holidays come and go now as dad is away at rest with the Lord. My thoughts are on the day we laid him to rest and the words I was given to share. I hope in some way this will help you if you have lost a loved one.

Think of daddy stepping out onto a mountain And finding it to be Heaven!
Think of  dad taking hold of a hand and finding it to be God’s!
Think of  dad breathing new air, and finding it to be celestial air.
Think of dad feeling invigorated, and finding it to be immortality.
I have has passed from a storm and tempest to an unbroken calm, I have woken up and realized I am now at home in Jesus’ Arms.
Daddy loves you!

As I shared that at his casket my heart was ok, for I knew he was safe now from all harm the earth offers, he would suffer no more. A few months later I was so sad and heartbroken and I sat down and read this over and over. I now know dad has been reborn; there will be no more tears for him to cry, and no more sorrow to suffer. I know everyday he has a smile. Most importantly I know he will be waiting with open arms when my day comes to go home. As I write this today, I feel the Lords presence. I know I am not alone.

If you too have lost a loved dad, mother, sister or brother, or even your own child, please know that God will fill the emptiness and help you to have joy in your heart again. I think the most I have learned from death is that God only loaned them to us, and we so often take them for granite. Take time to tell those that are still here how much you love them.

John 14:1-2"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

Isaiah 41:10, 13 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. . . . For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

God bless you my friends, today, tomorrow and always!
Dads tombstone reads "We Love You Daddy"

"His Hand"

This Christmas, may His Hands touch your heart
with healing and your life with blessings
As He cradles you in love all the days of your life
with his blood stained hands
The Hands that made the world and gave
the sun and moon their light
The same tiny hands of a baby born one cold December night …
The Hands that stilled the wind and tamed the fury of the sea
are the calloused Hands of a carpenter who lived in poverty …
The Hands that held the power to break the binding chains of sin
are the gentle Hands that washed the feet
of tired and dusty men …
The Hands that cleansed the leper,
healed the blind and raised the dead are the same praying hands of one, who cried,
"Not My will, but Thine instead …
The Hands that shaped the universe and flung the stars in space
the nail-pierced hands of a dying man who
suffered in our place …
The Hands of our Creator, Lord and King of Heaven above,
the Savior's Hands, forever reaching out to us with love.
This holiday season give him a gift, the gift of your love
And forever will you be touched by His hands.

God bless you each this Holiday season!

“Angel Gabriel”

The Angel Gabriel brings about good thoughts. As I was lying around today, I thought about the Angel that appeared when my dad was dying and how it comforted dad, he said it gave him peace. I wonder now, was that the Angel Gabriel? Did God send Him to comfort my dad? Tears stream down my face as I remember the days of past. Will your heart be open to receive when your angel appears before you?

The angel Gabriel appeared when there was an extremely important message from God. Daniel15And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. Daniel816And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision. 17So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.

1. Daniel 9:20And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; 21Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.

2. Luke 1:5-38. 5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. 6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 7 But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.

8 So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division, 9 according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. 10 And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. 11 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. 15 For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. 16 And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. 17 He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

18 And Zacharias said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.”
19 And the angel answered and said to him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. 20 But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time.”
21 And the people waited for Zacharias, and marveled that he lingered so long in the temple. 22 But when he came out, he could not speak to them; and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple, for he beckoned to them and remained speechless.
23 So it was, as soon as the days of his service were completed, that he departed to his own house. 24 Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she hid herself five months, saying, 25 “Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among people.”

The Angel Gabriel showed up at times when God summoned him to go and take care of things. There is a lot more in the above scripture, but it would take a book just to write about it. I do hope you will pick up your concordance and research Gabriel and the other angels in the Bible. The Lord sends us Angels during different times in our life to help us to get through things. Angels appear before us during worship and praise service, they are sent to provide, protect, and deliver and to care for us at the death of a loved one.

May God bless you this day! I pray that you receive all the Lord has to offer.

"CHRIST"mas

The Christmas season is here! Our calendars are already full, our bank accounts are closing in on empty and our hearts and lives are crowded with things we deem important, but have we made room for Jesus?

Christmas is not a date on a calendar. Christmas is a way of life that celebrates the presence of God in the simple, ordinary happenings of daily life: where we go and what we do.

I cannot even imagine not having Jesus in my life. I do not always understand the trials in my life, life does not always seem fair, but I do know that when I do cry out to Jesus, He fills every empty place with his bountiful love and understanding. He sends comfort and peace to me. It is so easy to sit back and feel sorry for ourselves especially this time of year, when you do see others life full of joy and happiness. What you do not see is what is going on within their hearts and souls.

I pray that your life is filled with God's peace and joy this holiday season. I know it has been a difficult year for many of you. Remember - God is with you. Giving is of the heart, maybe all you have to give is a smile, and believe it when I tell you that sometimes that is all some of us need. Take some of the chores off your calendar and spend a day with someone who is lonely or less fortunate than you are. If you are a grandparent, take a child and just enjoy what they have to offer, spend some time baking sugar cookies, while giving the parent a break. Spend a day at a Christian ministry serving others, reach out and enjoy life. Christmas is about the birth of Jesus. Let us quit making it about stressful things that retailers have made it over the years. Today I feel so blessed to say I know Jesus, He is my life. I am human and I often forget to take time and thank Him for all that He has given to me, so I ask for His understanding heart to forgive me and to continue loving me.

Christmas is not just a date on a calendar; it is a way of life as long as you celebrate the life and presence of Christ our Savior.

Father, today I celebrate the reality of your presence in my life. Thank You for sending Your Son to earth as a tiny baby in a manger. I celebrate the birth of Jesus and the gift of life that He brings. I choose to receive your gift of love and forgiveness for my sins. I now surrender everything I am or ever hope to be to You. Please take control of my life and direct my paths. Amen!

“Holiday Despair”

The Season is upon us, for some there is joy and comfort in knowing that they will get to spend some time with their families. However for most, The season brings along pain and stress, the worries of the extra expense, cooking for many and just the thought of being around people they do not care for.  For some it is bittersweet, it can be a season of despair, and often, a dreaded time. For some of these people, the mindset is, ‘everyone is happy but me.’ They do not realize that many others like them are suffering during the holidays. They do not realize that is does not have to be this way.

People rushing around shopping for the ingredients for the turkey dinner for the family, laughing and singing those silly Christmas tunes, you know the ones that make you sick that you have heard them your entire life. If this sounds all too familiar to you then it is very evident that you have forgotten the full meaning of the holidays.

Matthew 1:18-25 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—, which means, "God with us."

When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus. (KJV)

This is the reason for the Holiday Season, The birth of Jesus Christ. Gifts should be given out of love, not fear of how you will put the next meal on the table. The best gift one can give is time, love, understanding and caring. The Lord is aware of the trials and tribulations that you are going through and He does not want you to suffer because of His birth. His birth was meant to be to show you just how much He loves you. He was born so that He could die for us so that we could have a future with Him.

The spirit of being around your family and friends is meant to be joyous, if you feel you are alone and have no family or friends, please take a minute and ask Jesus to be your friend, He will not let you down. Trust and have faith in who He is, for Christmas to come is about His birthday.

The holiday’s leading up to Christmas are a time of gathering with friends and family, if you have none, find a Christian ministry, a homeless shelter, and volunteer your time and be with others who may be going through what you are, but do not let Satan control this time. God is love…If presents and wrapping paper, mistletoe and Santa Clause are all stealing your vision away from the true reason for this season, take a few minutes to pray. These next few weeks should be a time of cheer, even with the difficult economic times where most of us will not be able to buy elaborate gifts, we can still spread the news of Christ’ birth. Let us celebrate this thanksgiving and Christmas by showing our love for others and for the Love of our Heavenly Father. God bless you my friends…

“A Day of Thanksgiving”

Thanksgiving is approaching us and I wanted to take time to remind all the importance of this day. From back in 1782 when President Hanson declared Thursday November 28th a time to celebrate God and a time to give thanks to Him in a declaration. To this day we still celebrate Thursday as a day of thanks, however for many it’s a day to prepare for what we call Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year. Tears come to my eyes as I type that.

Thanksgiving should be daily; God takes care of us every day, why would some just give thanks once a year? In fact, God commands us to be thankful. Psalms 50:14 14Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: Psalms 97:12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

The Bible is full of scripture and stories of thanksgiving. What is not full of thanksgiving is the world we live in. Thank him daily. Psalms 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits... I Thessalonians, chapter five, verse eighteen say, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." And in Ephesians, chapter five, where Paul is telling new Christians how they should live, it says: Give thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

As I was studying for this today, I came across a story that touched my heart and made me realize how I would feel as well. I hope it touches you as well. One afternoon a shopper at the local mall felt the need for a coffee break. She bought herself a little bag of cookies and put them in her shopping bag. She then got in line for coffee, found a place to sit at one of the crowded tables, and then taking the lid off her coffee and taking out a magazine she began to sip her coffee and read. Across the table from her a man sat reading a newspaper. After a minute or two, she reached out and took a cookie. As she did, the man seated across the table reached out and took one too. This put her off, but she did not say anything. A few moments later, she took another cookie. Once again, the man did so too. Now she was getting a bit upset, but still she did not say anything. After having a couple of sips of coffee, she once again took another cookie. So did the man. She was really upset by this - especially since now only one cookie was left. Apparently, the man also realized that only one Cookie was left. Before she could say anything he took it, broke it in half, offered half to her, and proceeded to eat the other half himself. Then he smiled at her and, putting the paper under his arm, rose and walked off. Was she steamed? Her coffee break ruined, already thinking ahead of how she would tell this offense to her family, she folded her magazine, opened her shopping bag, and there discovered her own unopened bag of cookies.

I like that story - it makes me think about how well God treats me even when I am not treating him well or thinking all that kindly about him. I can imagine what must have gone through her mind, how embarrassed she was. We are all so selfish at times in our life, instead of being thankful for what we have and for those in our life, we complain and find what is wrong. This day I give Thanks to God, for all that, He has given to me in my life and I thank Him for all those who are in my life. Most importantly, I give thanks to Him for loving me and giving me life daily.

Take this day, give Thanks, no matter your situation in life, Give Thanks, and ask for deliverance from the pain and suffering and all your sins.

God bless each of you and Happy Thanksgiving.

Upwards to Heaven

There was pain I could not bear
When the flood of tears fell
Where was my friend?
I looked to the sky,
Searched thru the stars above
For this pain I could not bear

The mind wanders upwards
As the end of the day draws, near
Where is my friend?
Searched thru the light of the moon
To the Heavens above
For this pain I cannot bear

Shall I mount upon the wings of the eagles?
In search of my friend
To seek from the Heavens above
To stand on His Promises
For this pain I cannot bear

Walking in obedience
In search of my friend
To do my best and not fear
Waiting on my friend,
For this pain I can bear

Looking upwards
During this storm of pain
I found my friend,
For He (Jesus) was always near,
This pain I did bear.

We can't Fathom God's Love

God's mind is so far beyond our own that it is far, far beyond our imagining.

I have been asked how God hears all of us at once... It is just the same as how did He create Heaven and Earth in a week. HE IS GOD! First of all we aren’t suppose to understand, it’s up to us to TRUST and BELIEVE in all that God has shown us already and to believe in what is to come.

Do you know why God answers my prayers, I can tell you, it is very simple, I BELIEVE IN HIM. Do all prayers get answered the way I want, of course not, and later I am always so appreciate, cause see God knows the future for me, He knows that maybe what I ask for at the time, just wouldn’t fit in with what His plans are for me. I already know He loves me and wants the best for me, so I trust that the choices He makes for me are the correct ones.

I so often hear from people, I been praying but God has not answered, He does not love me. Impatient is what I say, or they got the answer and just did not want to hear it. Probably because it was not exactly what they asked for, or to be blunt it may be because they do not have a relationship with God. They may know that God exists, and they might even worship God from time to time.

However, those who never seem to have their prayers answered probably do not have a relationship with him. Further, they have never received from God complete forgiveness for their sin. What does that have to do with it you ask? Here is an explanation. Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. However, your iniquities have separated you from your God. Your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear." When you belong to God, he knows you and hears your prayers. Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep and my sheep know me...my sheep listen to my voice. I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand."

If you find yourself feeling alone and your prayers unheard ask yourself, do I know God, if you answer that with an “I am not sure” then get on your hands and knees and cry out to Jesus? Lay your sins down before Him and ask for His divine forgiveness. It is very easy to be neglectful and live a life of sin until we need help. We tend to forget to say thank you and remember that God wants to hear from us, we are not burdens to Him; He loves us and the cross proved that already.

“The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." God may provide solutions, to the problem way beyond what you imagined possible. However, if the circumstances do not improve, God can still give us his peace in the midst of it. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful."

My friends remember all you have to do is love Him and let Him love you back. Give all your worries and trials over to Him. Accept Jesus into your life before it is too late. He is God! He is Love! He is Truth! He is ETERNITY! Is He yours today?

“Holiday Despair”

The Season is upon us, for some there is joy and comfort in knowing that they will get to spend some time with their families. However for most, The season brings along pain and stress, the worries of the extra expense, cooking for many and just the thought of being around people they do not care for.  For some it is bittersweet, it can be a season of despair, and often, a dreaded time. For some of these people, the mindset is, ‘everyone is happy but me.’ They do not realize that many others like them are suffering during the holidays. They do not realize that is does not have to be this way.  People rushing around shopping for the ingredients for the turkey dinner for 15, laughing and singing those silly Christmas tunes, you know the ones that make you sick that you have heard them your entire life.

The holiday’s leading up to Christmas are a time of gathering with friends and family, if you have none, fine a Christian ministry, a homeless shelter, and volunteer your time and be with others who may be going through what you are, but do not let Satan control this time.

“Who Received the Blessing?”

Peter responds immediately, and his journey is significant. It is a twelve-mile walk to Joppa. The journey is a reflection of his inner journey, as he moves away from Judaism towards a new understanding of his mission.

Peter is taken to Tabitha's body, laid out in the upper room of her house. Her friends have gathered around her body. They show Peter the garments she has made for the poor. The evidence for a well-lived life is there for all to see.Peter is moved by their grief, but he puts them outside so that the room becomes peaceful and quiet again. There is only him and the body of Dorcas.

He kneels and prays, facing away from the body - perhaps to focus his entire mind on God. Then he turns to Dorcas' body. Using her Jewish name, Tabitha, and drawing on the same source of power that Jesus had, he commands her to get up. The dead body responds. She opens her eyes, sees Peter, and sits up. He extends his hand to her and raises her up into a standing position. Then he asks for her friends from outside to come back in, so they can see with their own eyes what just happened. Amazed does not explain the looks on their faces. It simply shows that because of them believing in the Lord she is restored to life. She rises and returns to her friends and family. Acts 10 reports he had a dream and realized that 'God shows no partiality' (Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons). From this moment, Peter knows he must convert Gentiles as well as Jews to belief in Jesus Christ. Please check out the full story of Dorcas (Tabitha), and Peter’s journey to use God to heal her.
This story serves many purposes for all of us. We need to come together and help each other out during lives trials and tribulations. We must have the faith necessary for God’s will to be done in our lives, and we must bring all lost sheep to God, no matter what their religion or belief. Sometimes it is all about how you act, how you let others see you during hard times. Do you give up? Do you trust God to bring you thru? God does respect all; He created us all, so remember that when you speak ill will of anyone, pray for all.

God bless you my friends!

Let your “Sunshine” out

I am still the SON shine that is watching over you. I give you the laughter within to make you happy. I can just hear Jesus telling us this. As winter approaches; so does fatigue, and depression for us. We have limited sunlight each day. I know that for me I could not possibly get through a full day without having my Heavenly Father to talk with. I ask His Son Jesus to shine on me and help me get through each day.

As winter approaches, some will begin to feel sluggish and gloomy. Those suffering from depression can experience intense feelings of sadness, anger, hopelessness, fatigue, and a variety of other symptoms. They may begin to feel useless and even suicidal, losing interest in things and people that they once enjoyed. All this can get started because of the lack of sun. I like to believe it starts because of the lack of SON (Jesus).

The Bible tells us to be filled with joy and praise (Philippians 4:4; Romans 15:11), so God apparently intends for us all to live joyful lives. This is not easy for someone suffering from depression, but it can be remedied through God's gifts of His Son Jesus Christ.

It starts with accepting Jesus into our hearts, all thru prayer we can find that sun that is within us again. Winter doesn’t have to be without SON, it is your choice. Start with faith by recognizing Gods voice when He talks to you, Trust in Him to take care of your needs and believe in receiving joy and happiness back into your life.

Psalm 97 11Light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. 12Rejoice in the LORD, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.

                                             My Son shine
Jesus Christ!

“The First Snow of 2010”

Job37:6 For He saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

Here in the North Carolina Mountains we received our first snow for the 2010 season on November 4. Ski slopes opened, and many people climbed the mountain to get in their first skiing of the season. I looked up at the snow-laden trees; I saw their branches spread out in praise to God. As I looked out at the bushes, I saw that they were bent over under the weight of the snow and they looked as if they were kneeling before almighty God. As I looked up at the hilltops, I saw the stony faces of the mountains, which were silently singing their praises to God. In that moment, I began praising God.

On the wings of a snow white dove comes to mind when I think of snow and the Lord. Jesus washes us clean not only a little...but completely. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:7

Jesus wants our souls to be pure; He gives us opportunities throughout our life to make ourselves right with Him. As I was listening to the radio and watching the news about all those that were out heading to the slopes or higher elevations just to see the snow, I wondered just how many had taken a minute to thank the Lord for the beautiful snow. It was just such a beautiful day to give thanks. God gives us so much beauty and we just forget to thank Him. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and return not thither but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater" (Isaiah 55:9)

God planned everything when He created earth, including the elements. Snow is just one of those that we get to enjoy.

Mrk9:3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.

Ps148:8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

Never take for granted what God gives you, He loves us so much. God bless you my friends!

When does two wrongs make a right

Romans 12:9

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Nothing in life would make us happier at times than to turn and make someone else suffer for what they have done to us. I will use myself as an example here. Life is hard, complicated and even unbearable at times without a feeling of being bullied, harassed, or even crucified. In my workplace I was told I am to not go to certain areas without letting my boss know I am going, when I should laugh I can’t I just cry. The reason I cry is simple, I am lucky if I take time and go to the women’s room each day for right now due to some health issues I am only working part-time hours. However, the real reason cannot be said to me for it will hurt someone else, so I get abused as I have been for quite a few months now. When I say anything, I just am told I am making more of it than it is. Easy for them to say, they do not have to report their every move to a warden. I am being imprisoned and treated like a 5 year old. I would love to see this person be treated the same, however I know that’s not possible and I know with thoughts like that God gets angry with me. Even angrier with me because of the thoughts I had on my way home today. I have cried for approximately five hours now, and soaked away some of the ache knawing in my chest. I have asked Jesus to intercede on my behalf. I cannot handle any more disappointments right now. Dealing with health issues already has me in a bad place. Therefore, I went seeking His word, and I found Romans 12:9. I do not want anyone to go to Hell, I pray for his or her soul. I am telling you all this so that you can see that I also have everyday problems, and I almost let Satan win this battle just with the thoughts I had and let them ruin any opportunity that I might have of getting into heaven. Of course, there are always going to be people in our lives that think they are mightier than God Himself, but us Christians know better.

When Jesus was arrested, Peter was disturbed to the point of cutting off the ear of a slave of the high priest. Jesus quickly responded by healing the slashed ear and said, Stop! No more of this." (Luke 22:51) Jesus taught His disciples, in word and deed, that two wrongs never make a right.

Because of sins, mistakes, and errors in judgment, we, too, are often forced to learn the hard way. If this has been your experience, do not be discouraged. Remember that God loves you and can use any learning experience to make your life rich and more useful in His work.

So, confess your mistakes and sins, and seek God's will for your life.

I love you Jesus and ask for your love, understanding, and forgiveness of my sins. God Bless you my friends.

Are you a Samaritan?

The story about the ten lepers occurred when Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. The men met him, but stayed a distance away. (The law said a leper must not come near and must call out "Unclean!" so people would know he had leprosy.)

These men called out, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" They knew he had healed others. Jesus told them to go and show themselves to the priests, and as they were going, a wonderful thing happened. Their skin became clean and free from leprosy! We can just imagine the joy they felt. Nine of the men continued on to go see the priest, but one man turned back and came to Jesus. He was praising God with a loud voice, and he fell at Jesus' feet and thanked him. This man was a Samaritan, a man from the region of Samaria. The Jews hated the Samaritans. Jesus asked where the other nine men were. Ten were healed, but only one came back to say "Thank you", and he was a foreigner. Jesus told the man, "Rise and go. Your faith has made you well

Where are you in your healing? Do you have the faith the Samaritan had? It is important that we all take time and thank God immediately for His divine healing.

Do you have a thankful heart, a heart after God? When was the last time you stepped out of your box and told someone what God has done for you? Sometimes that is all someone needs to hear, an encouraging word, faith to believe for him or her that they too can receive healing just as you did. Do not ever sit back and think why would I want to tell anyone what I been through, you never know when it may be you that saves someone’s life.

Knowing that God is in control and that he has a purpose for our lives is another reason to be thankful. God blesses us in so many ways and sometimes we fail to see or recognize His handiwork in our lives. Think about all the wonderful things in your life such as family and friends.

Be thankful that when you or someone you care about is ill, you can pray for God's healing power.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. Gratitude is an attitude of being thankful for what He has done for me! When we fully recognize that our greatest problem has been solved, our indebtedness of sin, we can feel and know gratitude and thus honor God, by leading a life of response to whom and what He has done! I have told you so many times over this past year just how much God loves you, so I ask of you today to take some time and Thank God for getting you thru these past 10 months of 2010. He loves us all. I love you Jesus!

May God love and Bless you my friends~

“Election Day"

Vote for God to Run this Country

Today around the United States people are going out to the polls to elect who they think will be right in the White House to serve this Nation. Many will be elected in, that are of Satan, and few will be elected in that know God our Father of all Nations. We each get to make that decision. Some investigate it and make just decisions, others vote straight party. What ever decision you make, stop first and ask for Gods anointing on whom you are voting for, ask for His advice before making such an important decision.

In the Bible you will find many discussions about elections and their different meanings. God elected many, and many went against Him. Don’t make that decision, vote with God.

God elected Saul to be King over Israel and to save His people from the Philistines, but King Saul turned against God in disobedience. 1 Samuel 9:15 Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear the day before Saul came, saying, 16 "Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him commander over My people Israel, that he may save My people from the hand of the Philistines; for I have looked upon My people, because their cry has come to me." 17 And when Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said to him, "There he is, the man of whom I spoke to you. This one shall reign over My people."1 Samuel 10:24 And Samuel said to all the people, "Do you see him whom the Lord has chosen, that [there] [is] no one like him among all the people?" So all the people shouted and said, "Long live the king!"

This my friends is what will happen in today’s election as well, many running for office will turn against God and take their free will and try to run this country as they see fit. It is each of our responsibilities to do our very best to get God fearing men and women into office. I hope that as you made your decisions today, you put God first.

Jesus Christ was elected by God to take away the sin of the world. John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" Isaiah 42:1 "Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One [in] [whom] My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2 He will not cry out, nor raise [His] [voice], Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth. 4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His law."

Jesus loves us and want us to live in a sin free world as He knows it. Unfortunately earth is corrupt as many of the officials that we allow to run it. I took God with me to the polls today and ask for His will to be done. We are blessed to live in a country that is united by God, let’s keep it that way. Most importantly is that if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, today is the time to make that decision and make Him your Leader.

God bless you my friends!

“Don’t give up on God for Healing”

“Don’t give up on God for Healing” With man this is impossible, but not with God; All things are possible with God" (Mark 10:27)

It does not matter what you are suffering now or what your current situation is, God can give you the Physical, Spiritual, and Financial Breakthrough you desire.

"Jesus Heals the Sick"

"He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed". (Isaiah 53:5)

1 John 5:14-15 (King James Version) 14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Do you feel like throwing up your hands in despair since nothing helps, and accept weakness, pain, sickness and distress as your lot in life? It seems no matter what you do you cannot get out of the rut you are in, your health keeps failing you, you have went before your elders of the church and ask them to pray for you? The faith you used to have is now just a glimpse in the far distance, if this is how you are feeling then it is time to reevaluate your life.

My dear friend, there is hope for you. It is not too late. It may seem hopeless, but it is not. It may seem useless to think of deliverance, but it is not. So long as you are alive, and if you have faith in God in Heaven, there is hope! Never ever give up on God, He is there, He knows you are suffering, He is waiting for you and for His time. Will your faith be able to withstand what you are going through or will you allow Satan to defeat you.

I am personally dealing with a couple health issues. Pain that has brought me to tears, a sense of helplessness, doctor visits, therapy, nothing seems to help. Even as I lie here writing this my foot is in such an intense pain. Sometimes, I feel like just sleeping so I do not have to feel the pain. I realize this is not the right thing to do, that if only I would follow what my heart already knows I would get better faster. However, I am human and I slip and go days before I realize I should have given the pain over to God at the beginning and waited patiently in faith that He would heal me and be with me through the pain.

God is ready, willing and able to step in and bring to pass a miracle in your life, because nothing is impossible with Him! Do not be one of those with little faith; to receive you have to have trust and faith in Christ.

God bless you my friends!

“When love in a relationship isn’t enough”

How do we know when someone says they love us isn’t enough. To work, love relationships need to be approached with the right perspective from the beginning?

A person cannot offer you something he or she does not have to offer you. Eternal love can be found only within a man or a woman who has it in them to offer. When two people belong with one another, they will have this love to offer each other.
There is love in everyone. Some relationships aren’t meant to be in love or married relationships. Even though u feel you love someone and will go crazy without them.
Sometimes, it’s a love built from friendship, and that’s all one can see in the relationship.
I imagine you are thinking what does this have to do with God? It has a lot to do with God. All relationships have to start with God first, without Him, you are setting yourself up for a failed relationship. One should pray over the other person and ask for Gods will in this relationship, then take each day as it comes.
2 Corinthians 6:14 (King James Version) 14 be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?
Did you know the bible is a book about relationships from beginning to end? God wants two people to be together, why do you think He created Eve? He created the perfect match for Adam, and He will do the same for you, if you are patient and allow Him to.
"The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand . . . For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does . . ." (John 3:35; 5:20).
My first relationship belongs to God, He comes first in my life and always will, and then there will be time for others, including family. God creates only good reunions. We sometimes get hurried in our lives and choose the wrong person, and then blame God. We start feeling sorry for ourselves, which leads us into the arms of another wrong person. The love in a relationship is and always will be wrong if God doesn’t come first.

There are numerous relationship verses from the Bible, below are just a few: [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Philippians 2:3

Matthew 5:16 (King James Version) 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Proverbs 16:18 (King James Version) 18Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Life isn’t perfect, we lose loved ones everyday, to death, other women or men, but we have to pick our heads up and know that God knows the answers, its all about Trusting Him my friends. Let Him choose your mate, or best friend, call our His name, and ask for His guidance.

God bless you my friends.

“Opportunity”

Life is full of opportunities, some good, some not so good. I would love to take this opportunity to tell you about my Lord and Savior. Each day that I wake gives me yet another opportunity to be thankful for what the Lord has given to me, first and foremost life. The air that we breathe comes from our Heavenly Father. How many of us miss so many good opportunities in life for fear of failure.

When opportunity knocks, open the door? Is the opportunity at the front door or the back? Whichever it is at there is nothing to lose by considering all your options. Lighten up and check the back door. You may be surprised at what you find. The path to your dreams may be at the back door, but also the path may lead to misguided opportunities. Ask God to show you the doors he has opened.

Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust

No matter what the circumstances are in your life, when you are dwelling in this secret place, you, too, can be happy and joyous, assured in your heart and mind. When you are facing hard trials and are dwelling in this secret place, your faith is standing on the promises of God.

This does not mean you will not shed tears because of what you are going through. We read in the Bible where tears were shed by many of those who had to go through sufferings for long periods.
Job was smitten with boils for a long period. We do not know exactly how long, but we read where he endured months of suffering. Months can go into years. We do not know how long his trial was, but we do know it was a trial of long duration.
No matter what the circumstance in your life, turn to God, seek Him, His ever-present help is right there, however you have to Trust and Believe. We cannot avoid having troubles in this life. Everybody wants to have a smooth bed of roses without the thorns, but life is not like that.
Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

This is my opportunity to tell you about how good God is and how He is there with you, even during the trials and tribulation. Yes things go wrong and you don’t always get answers when you want them, but one thing is for sure, if you trust God He will get you through it, and you will be able to use this trial to help someone else later in life and be stronger in your own life. God answers all, IN HIS TIME. There are reasons for all seasons in life. Now this is your opportunity to reach out and ask God to come into your life, to be ever present for you. Take this opportunity to open the door to God. Life is only a failure if you allow it to be.

Proverbs 14:26 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and His children shall have a place of refuge. Psalm 91:3 Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. Satan is the fowler. He is the one who will try to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). He is out to steal your peace, steal your joy and happiness, if you let him. Remember that the Scripture tells us to be sober and vigilant because our adversary, the devil, goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (I Peter 5:8).

I Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. But God is faithful!!! Oh, yes. God keeps His Word. His promises are true. II Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished

The one who dwells in that secret place will be delivered out of temptation.

God bless you my friends! Take every opportunity to serve the Lord, spread His good news.
