“Trust and Believe”

When speaking to a friend today they told me they had a premonition about me last night. I was in Heaven on a white horse and I had wings, I was holding a sign that read “Trust and Believe”.

My heart was cheerful as I listened, but saddened at the same time. I knew that this sign was for them, for I have watched them change over the past six months as they have went thru some hard times. I too sometimes have trouble trusting that God hears me, because I pester Him, always apologizing for my shortcomings and asking for healing. I do Believe and Trust Him for my healing, physically and mentally. Do you?

"They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white." (Rev. 3:4)

Biblically, faith is trust, confidence in, or assurance. Assurance in God: Understanding what Faith / Trust is. Heb. 11:6 6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

No one can force trust. It develops over time. Hebrews 11:1 1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I have written this to let my friend and others know that without Trust in God, you will never be able to believe. We have to go out on a limb and look at what Jesus did for us. Jesus had all the trust that His Father would not leave Him behind; His suffering would not go unnoticed. Jesus believed and trusted His Father to bring Him home to set on the right side of the throne with His Heavenly Father.

Faith (Trust) is a gift from God, not because we deserve it, have earned it, or are worthy to have it. It is not from us; it is from God. It is not obtained by our power or our free will. It is simply given to us by God, along with His grace and mercy, according to His holy plan and purpose, and because of that, He gets all the glory. We need faith to please God. God tells us that it pleases Him that we believe in Him even though we cannot see Him. Faith can fail us at times, but because it is the gift of God, He provides times of trial and testing in order to prove that our faith is real and to sharpen and strengthen it. This is why James tells us to consider it “pure joy” because the testing of our faith produces perseverance and matures us, providing the evidence that our faith is real James 1:2-4. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

My dear friends I ask that you go before the Lord and ask Him how you too can grow in your Trust and Belief in Him. As I said, it doesn’t happen overnight, however you will have insight to know the difference in things in your life. Jesus loves each and everyone of us, He wants the best. He doesn’t want us to suffer and be doubtful, but He will allow us to go thru many challenges in our life, but be assured He will never leave you alone, you have to “TRUST AND BELIEVE”.

“Trust and Believe”

The angel smiles as she carries her sign that reads “Trust and Believe”
You have nothing to fear
He is mightier than the enemy who hates you
He says our road ahead will be filled with many obstacles” but not to worry as we have the shield of Him about us.

Listen to my voice, as I cry out to you dear Lord
God can you hear me?
I am falling Lord
I do believe in you
I Trust that you are listening
You are my best friend
I trust that you shall take this pain
I feel like I cannot face another day
I believe you when you say you shall heal me
God can you hear me?

I stand in faith when I feel like giving up
I believe that you have made the way
I believe in you Lord
I trust in you Lord
You are my best friend
Are you listening to my voice, as I cry out to you dear Lord
God can you hear me?

The angel gets back on the white horse and rides off with her sign.
However; before she rides away, she says
“Continue on and know that Jesus is coming
He is with you until the end.”
Yes, my child I can hear you…

Spiritual Growth

Spiritual growth takes time. We need to be patient with ourselves and be careful about trying shortcuts or strange ways to become good and holy and like Jesus. We need to work with nature not against it.

Moreover, part of this time is the slow constant discipline of repentance. In Edition, you need to turn back to God every day. Each day pull out the weeds of sin – and there will always be weeds. Prayer, Bible reading, studying and worship each week will also be helpful. It is immediate, and it happens slowly. If we are consistent and disciplined, it will happen because there is nothing that is too hard for God.

Spiritual growth is detailed in 2 Peter 1:3-8, "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life" (1 John 5:11-12). When you believe in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit lives inside of you (John 14:16-17) and you are a new creation in Christ! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" Your old nature is replaced with a new nature that is under the influence of God's Spirit (Romans 6-7). Spiritual growth can only occur in a person who knows the Lord Jesus Christ as his or her Savior. Learning how to grow spiritually is a life-long journey, which happens as you, read and apply God's Word to your life. To get to Heaven you must know God; take this journey with me on being spiritually bound for Heaven. God bless you my friends…

“He loves you or Does He”

Ever been so in love with someone, and you feel it is not reciprocated? Words cannot express the grief one feels when one loses love. It is an ache that is so hard to explain, almost as bad as losing a loved one to death. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop. Someone said that to me once, and I knew then it was the truth. Alfred Lord Tennyson once said: 'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. I am not sure I totally agree with that one, least not right now. There are times when death would seem preferable to the unrelenting pain and frustration. Death of a loved one has a clean finality to it, and, normality, is not a deliberate choice on the part of the other to be free of you. As I sit here writing I am wondering how God feels about this. Some loves must die, if they are not from God they are not really loves anyway, but still it hurts, like Hell. All death hurts like Hell, because God did not make it. If you are going thru the loss of love, please remember they may choose to let you go, but God will never let you go, He loves you so much. Ever think that just maybe God wants you for himself! Have you considered that possibility?

The words “I Love You” is perhaps the most overused and misunderstood words in the English language. God gives and allows us love, but so many do not know the true meaning of loving. It is taken for granted so much. To love is to be loved. Agape is about giving of ourselves expecting and wanting nothing in return. It means loving other people regardless of whether you like them or whether they love you. Its supreme example is in Jesus who laid down his life, not only for his friends, but for everyone. I love with Agape love, and sure, I get hurt a lot, but my goal is to get to Heaven and be by Jesus side. Therefore, for all that have hurt me, I forgive you in Jesus Name. I wish love and happiness for all in this world.

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2, 20)

Therefore, my point here is no matter how much someone hurts you, you will never not be loved, for see, Jesus loves you unconditionally and forever.

I love you too my friends, God bless you all….and I am sure that whoever he or she was or is loved you too, just not the way you loved them.

“Balancing Life”

In order to get balance into your life you must discover your purpose, establish your priorities and you must make your plan. Finding balance in our lives is sometimes very hard to do. We cannot seem to find out how to handle the pressure of what the boss is telling us to do, what your spouse is asking you to do, what the kids want you to do, what the school is requiring of you, what the church is calling for you to do, the expectations of friends, extended family, and so on. Where do we find time for the Lord in our busy lives? Some of us even thrive on chaos — the more the better. The days are a swirl of overwhelming activity from beginning to end. Some people handle it by withdrawing from everything. They feel burned out by people and activities, and now they just say “No” to everything. They never join anything, or if they were involved, they quit everything they used to do. It is the only way they know how to handle it. Others withdraw by retreating into a world of fantasy. They enter a false world where they do not have to be involved with other people on a real level. They sit for hours in front of the television, read countless books or watch an endless string of movies. They retreat into the chat rooms of the internet with its pretend relationships. I know personally I have done most of these at one point in my life, and if not these, I find resolve in slumber. There has to be balance. God does not mean for us to live like this. What happens when a tire is out of balance on your car? One tire out of balance by just a few ounces can shake a whole car. What happens when you have inner ear problems and lose your sense of balance? Your whole world becomes disoriented, and on both occasions you seek help, you take your tire to the shop to be fixed and you find a doctor to give you medication to clear the ear up. So, tell me why we are not seeking help for the imbalance in our lives. The first thing you have to do, if you are going to have balance in your life is to discover your purpose. What is your purpose in this world? The Bible says, “If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord” (Romans 14:8). If it is true that we belong to the Lord, then we have the obligation to live for the Lord. When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a man of understanding and knowledge maintains order. - Proverbs 28:2

Even a nation in disorder is unstable...so it is in our lives. Where disorder reigns, we find instability in our personal lives. "For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace." - 1 Corinthians 14:32 God wants things to be in balance both in the church and in our personal lives. The only way that you can have any kind of balance in your life is if the Lord is part of it. Seek Him today. God bless you my friends!

Mountain Climbing

Mountain climbing is extremely dangerous. If you are going to climb a mountain, you have to know in your heart of hearts that this is really worth dying for. One slip and you could be gone. One little misstep will send you right down to the bottom again. It is a strange thing about mountain climbing: It is often much easier to climb up than back down. Once you are up, you may never get back. Most mountain climbers who die are lost in the descent, because when they are climbing up they can see where they are going, but when descending they often cannot see ahead.

In the Scriptures, mountains, not valleys, symbolize power and greatness. The Lord speaks of the Kingdom of God as a mountain that becomes so great it fills the whole earth! (Daniel 2:35,44) 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. It speaks of the Lord's house as a mountain, where the whole earth shall come and worship and from where the Word of the Lord shall go forth. (Isaiah 2:2) And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Jesus carried His cross up the mountain to give His life. He rose to the Highest of mountains after three days. The Mountain called Heaven.

Each of us climb mountains daily in our lives, we face many stones, and some boulders on the way up. How we handle the things below in the valley are going to be the things that matter. The Lord never told us it would be easy. It sure was not for Him. There is death in the valley! Life is on the mountain! Get out of the valley! "Flee as a bird to your mountain." (Psalm 11:1) [[To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David.]] In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain? When you feel as you cannot take another step to reaching the top, it is time to reach your arms out and ask Jesus to take hold of you, to help you with your climb, ask for His divine forgiveness. Jesus loves you and me; He will always lift us up when we fall, no matter how hard or far.

Psalms 23 The LORD Is My Shepherd
A Psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul:he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

With God all mountains are climbable……..

“Longing to feel beautiful”

What makes you feel beautiful? I start my day, brushing my hair, putting makeup on hoping it transposes me into one of the models in those fancy magazines. You are unique and special, I tell myself. No one else looks like you. I say to self "Unique is beautiful." Because everyone is beautiful in his or her own way, do not let anyone tell you different.

As the cliche goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But sometimes, the first person you should be able to convince is no one else but your self. Being beautiful is all about feeling good about what you see in the mirror everyday and being at peace with yourself. But its also all about knowing the right bits of information that would keep you looking every inch the beautiful person that you truly are.

Where does your beauty lie? Make a list of what you need in your life to feel beautiful. As I have studied the bible this year, I have read repeatedly how Jesus created us in His own image. Therefore, you tell me how you cannot be beautiful.

• True Beauty in God's Eyes - True beauty comes from a heart that belongs to God. God designed you in a way that delighted Him—you are beautiful!

• You do not have to look or act perfect to gain His love—You are accepted!
• God had given you gifts and talents—you are blessed!
• He has a plan for you that will amount to more than being a face on the cover of a magazine.

1Peter 3:3-4 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Proverbs 31:30 Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

Being beautiful comes from within. Like you, I sometimes feel down and out and ugly and I have to be woken to realize that outward beauty will resolve, it’s the inner spirit and soul that matters to God. I am created by the hands of Christ, just as you are, so WE are BEAUTIFUL IN CHRIST EYES.

That is enough for me…

Give your heart to God so that you too can feel beautiful.

“Consequences of Sin”

If we stray from the truth of God's Word, there are always consequences. Take a few minutes to see if you can think of some of the consequences of sin that you have seen either in your life or in the lives of those, you know.

1. Depression
2. No love for Jesus
3. Sickness
4. Anguish, stress, nervousness
5. Divorce, broken relationships

These are but a few of the things I have seen in my lifetime. I too am a sinner. I have had a feeling of emptiness and loneliness, Feeling left out without God is not a good feeling, it leaves you feeling lost and empty inside. "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy" (Proverbs 28)

We usually sin because we think we will get some pleasure or benefit from it. Sins have consequences and the Lord sees all.

Sin brings guilt

“For I know my transgressions and my sin is always before me” Psalm 51:3.

Sin breaks God’s heart

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption” Ephesians 4:30.

Sin desires to control my life

“Jesus replied, ‘I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin’” John 8:34.

It is often difficult to admit sin: thinking about how it may hurt God/others may make you feel ashamed and you hide it even more, but the truth is that He knows. You are only hurting yourself, after all isn’t it you that has to stand before God in the end. The next time you want to sin, stop in your tracks and think about what you are doing and who you are actually hurting.

Father, I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, and was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me honor You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

“Created to be like Christ, even in Forgiveness”

John 16:33 these things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world, ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Because we still live on earth and are not in heaven yet, it is inevitable that someone will “rub us the wrong way” or say something to offend us, intentionally or unintentionally. Definitely, there are times when others hurt our feelings, we may feel angry or sad, and usually both. However, as Christians we have to be willing to forgive and let it go. The devil uses this against us and goes after our thoughts full force. Our thoughts tell us that we should feel resentful towards the person or persons, so we in turn do the same thing they did, we allow our tongues to get in the way and say ugly things back to them. All the while Satan is having a good laugh, because once again we let him get to us. We now have an unforgiving attitude towards those that harmed us. In our eyes, the other person is certainly wrong and should apologize to us for hurting our feelings.

Matthew 18:32-35 “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said. ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ In anger his master turned him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.’ “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brothers from your heart.”

Jesus commands us to love those who offend us.

Matthew 6:43-48 “You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain

Wounds in our heart take place when we allow Sin, Unresolved Past, Unforgiveness, discouragement; Feelings of Rejection control our lives.

Choose not to be hurt when you are offended by receiving and walking in the love of God. (1 Thessalonians 5:11; James 5:16)

Take time and think about why you are upset or mad at anyone, and what you can do to get past it and forgive them. Remember that God forgives you without any questions, are you deserving? I know I am not, so I ask in Jesus name for forgiveness of all my sins and help in forgiving others

“It’s about Time”

Galatians 4:4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law

Mark 1:15 To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that, which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Ecclesiastes 3 says, "To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. A Time to be born, a time to die."

What does time mean to God? A couple of Biblical references give some idea of what time is like for God.

Psalm 90:4 says, "For a thousand years in your sight are like yesterday when it is past, or like a watch in the night." 2 Peter 3:8 says, "But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like one day."

I talk too many who tell me that they wish they had more time, they wish that they could put time aside to read their bible and spend time with God. It is a common problem, especially with those who are working. However, how much do we give to our lives to make sure that we have time to relax? Watch our soaps? People say that they have so little time to give. I always find that I make the excuse that I am too tired to read or pray, God never makes excuses to us, He always makes time for us. Quiet time with God is a necessity, you need to spend time in his words, study and learn from it every day, To become a good Christian you need the time alone with God, but also you need to be willing to give your time to those who are having difficult times, or sick. Always end your time in prayer to your Father.

Our Heavenly Father, I come to you today and ask that you direct our lives allowing us to have more time available for you. We always come to you in time of need, but please give us the desire to come to you daily and to give thanks. Thank you for this time to get into your word. I praise you Father and give you all the glory. Amen!

Taking a Chance with God

Luke 22:31-32 (King James Version) 31And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Here the Lord is talking to Peter (Simon) about weakness of the flesh, and how He prays that by faith in Him trials that tend to reveal weakness will be used to glorify Him and help you to grow in your faith. This was important for the disciples to learn if they planned on being effective once He ascended into heaven.

As you are going thru life facing physical afflictions, spiritual attacks, financial ruin or the death of a loved one. It is important that you truly know that Christ is in Heaven, and that He sees you and all your diversity. Jesus is with great love and tenderness praying that your faith persevere and that the trial will be used to your sanctification. We are assured that we are loved and embraced by the Lord by faith alone, because one thing is for sure, His Father always answers Jesus’ prayers. He does all the praying for us, so do not give up, you have Jesus on your side.

We must cast ourselves upon the Lord and His infinite wisdom in the trials we face. We may feel battered. We may feel as if we have been

left alone. We may feel as if there is no strength left to fight the battle any longer. Nevertheless, here comes Christ not in the first watch of the night, but in the fourth watch of the night. Here He comes walking victoriously as our King upon the stormy waves to show forth His might and power to deliver us or to help us. Here is the reason we can never give up

and quit as a Christian. The Lord will come to us even if it is in the fourth watch of the night. Although we might forget Him, Christ will not forget those who embrace Him by faith alone. Faltering and weak as we may be—He will not forget us (according to Isaiah 49:14-16).

As I have faced many temptations and failed at many, I am relieved to know my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and honored that I have a God who loves me even as I make mistake after mistake. He is your Savior as well, ask Him to pray and intercede to His Father on your behalf. Love Him, for He loves you!

Praise you Father!

1-2-3 WITH GOD

1. ACCEPTING
2. UNDERSTANDING
3. FOLLOWING

One of the great truths in life is that bad things happen to everyone and how we handle those hard times will be the defining moments in our Christian walk.

James 1:2-3 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of you faith worketh patience.

We need to welcome our trials as steps in God's creative process and meet them with patience and hope. Perfection in this life is to become what God wants us to become. What could be better than that? If we understand that our lives are in God's hands as He molds and shapes us, then the meanings—the eventual outcome—of joy and sorrow are the same.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

1. Accept Christ into your life, even though you will still go thru many trials and temptations you will have Christ on your side.

2. Understanding the type of love that God has for us is impossible, for He has Agape love, we can only try to understand why He chose to give His life for us heathens that is Agape love.

3. Following Christ and following His laws will give you much joy, understanding and acceptance of what He has to offer you. A home in Heaven, where there will be no more trials and tribulations. Heaven is perfection. God is Perfection…

Now lift your eyes and hearts to Heaven, accept that God loves you, understand that He gave His Son’s life for you and me, pick your life up and follow Christ, give love to all and show kindness. God is Love. It is as simple as 1-2-3…or G-O-D.

What does Friendship look like?

Have you ever tried to stop someone you loved from doing something stupid? You wanted to save them from making a terrible mistake. Moreover, to make matters worse, you could see it but they could not. No matter how much you talked, pleaded, argued, yelled, or reasoned with them, they just did not get it. I suppose all of us have been there.

That’s precisely where Paul found himself with the Galatians. In the beginning, Paul had preached the gospel and won the Galatians to Christ. He knew them well and prayed for them by name. He rejoiced in every victory won and wept over their struggles. He loved them as he would his own children and they looked to him as their spiritual father. Now the Judaisers had entered the picture. These false friends had coaxed the Galatians into adopting the practices of Judaism. Now they were on the verge of turning from the Lord. When Paul calls them to account, they get angry with him for butting in. “Who is Paul to tell us how to live? Why doesn’t he mind his own business? Leave us alone.”

Now Paul’s feelings are hurt, they are treating him like crap, I am sure we would of told them to just go and do whatever they wanted, but not Paul, he couldn’t, he loved them so much. He had spent so much time praying for them and caring for them. He reached out to them, where is we probably would of walked off and told them to get lost and don’t ever contact us again.

Galatians 4:11-16 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. 12Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all. 13Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first. 14And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor ejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. 15Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me. 16Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth.

Being there for your friends and family is your choice. No matter how they treat you or throw you under the bridge, do not give up on them. Keep them in your prayers. Even if you have to let them make their own mistakes, be there to pick them up. God wants us to keep His children in line with Him and His word.

The Armor of God

The world around us has changed, but one thing is a certainty, God has not. God is the one constant in our lives. We live our lives in a constant battle, the devil all around us , see Satan loves to keep us flat on our rumps, He don’t want you to be grounded. Have you felt troubled, a battle within yourself, you feel like a situation is taking place, you forgot your armor. Praise the Lord you are never without the armor of God. The thing is you have to be in the right place to accept the armor of God. You cannot let the discernment overwhelm what you know is right. The truth somewhere and somehow was diluted. Take time out and think about it, how you want to face the world. Will you seek the Lord and ask for His strength and for him to shelter you from the sins of the world? As it tells us in Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. He will never leave us, nor forsake us; it is us that leaves Him.

I Samuel 17:31, 32 And when the words were heard which David spoke, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him. And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. David was loved by the Lord, but was life easy for him? The Spirit of God was with David. He was a chosen vessel of God, and God has His eye on Him. David was destined to become a great man, no matter what. It was the plan of God that he becomes a great man. There is trouble and there is war taking the land. Israel had an enemy in the Philistines. They were neighbors, but they were enemies. The Philistines, always wanting to conquer and steal land. They wanted to . . . but that was not in the plan and purpose of God.

God made you for His own purpose so that you might reflect a unique aspect of Hs glory. Just as He did with David, He had a purpose, and David had to go through many obstacles in life just as you and I do here on earth now, see things have not changed, we all battle a war. The question is will you do it alone or will you ask for Gods help? KEEP YOURSELF IN THE LOVE OF GOD. His Shield is Your Light. Always follow the light, do not let yourself fall into the darkness, Seek Jesus, He is the Light! Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Without God we can only lose the battles against us, Put your battle on today. God bless you my friends.

Sadness beyond Belief

Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, while he himself went a day's journey into the desert. He came to a broom tree, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. "I have had enough, LORD," he said. "Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors." 1 Kings 19.3-4

Do you ever feel like Elijah, you just wish you could run away and die, that nothing seems good anymore. You cannot find fun in life, you feel hopeless. Things in front of you need to be done, you just cannot find energy. When Jesus was “very sorrowful, even to death” in Gethsemane he was sustained by “the joy that was set before him” (Hebrews 12:2).

Cast all your anxiety on God because He cares for you. 1Peter 5:7
Scripture is filled with stories of people who are sad -- Jesus for one -- He wept over the death of his friend and He wept for His friends who had lost a brother. It’s not new. Its symptoms dot the pages of the Biblical record. Job, Ecclesiastes, the Psalms, Paul. Listen to the Psalmist. “My strength drains away like water, all my bones are loose. My heart has turned to wax and melts within me. My mouth is dry as a clay pot, my tongue sticks to my jaw.”

The first thing to be said is that when we are in a saddened mood we are in good company. We all have someone in our life who is going thru something difficult and we want to be good Christians and helpful. The thing is we do not want to hear about all their problems, so instead we just find excuses so we don’t have to be around them. Let us think about ways to help a hurting friend. What often happens is that we try to talk them out of their sad feelings, even when sadness makes sense. We change the subject or we give ready advice. We try to fix them. If we are especially impatient, we just remind them that God knows everything and will take care of it all. If you are a child of God, stop that, you might be the last chance for that person to receive God into their own life, you do not want their death to be on your hands. Yes, I said death, because if they do not know God their life is doomed to a final death in Hell.

I found it so interesting today when I was studying and ran across an article from the New York Times. The article tells us “religious people are less stressed and happier than nonbelievers. And research is beginning to explain why.” Shocked yet, I wasn’t to a certain degree. I too have been sad over circumstances in my life that I have no control over, however; the outlook is what keeps me going. See as a child of God you find comfort and peace, understanding and the knowledge that there will be a day of no more suffering, sadness, sorrow and pain. The day of death for us as Christians is in actuality a new life. Back to the Time magazine article, studies show that the more a believer incorporates religion into daily living— attending services, reading Scripture and other meaningful literature, praying, singing — the better off he or she appears to be on two measures of happiness: frequency of positive emotions and overall satisfaction with life as meaningful. Attending services has a particularly strong correlation to life satisfaction, as it grants faith in God and his purpose for us.

Each day of life, we put our hearts into Gods hands or we choose to leave them to the world. My friends, God is the way to go, the world has only an ending of hell awaiting you. In God’s hands, you are promised a place of peace, and happiness and no more sadness, a place with mansions. I pray for you this day asking God, that each of you reach out and ask God to come into your lives and to replace that sadness with happiness and joy that He so wants you to have. If you are thinking it’s not that easy, you are so wrong, God is there for the asking, waiting patiently on your cry to Him. Please do not wait until it is too late, you are not promised tomorrow.

God bless you my friends!

"Facing Fear of the End"

Death is an essential part of life for a Christian. One has to believe that there is an eternal life with God, because Jesus told us as much. It is all about Faith in Jesus’ word. Satan also plays an important role in eternal life; He also gives his word on where your life will be. The choice is all ours. As Christians, we must think about the means by which we can be spiritually strengthened and comforted during the illnesses and problems that will arise in our earthly lives. Satan would love to let you believe that God has no intention of you getting well, to give you reasons to walk away from God and trust in him. I was sharing with a friend today on how fear of standing before God has me so scared. I know I am not perfect and I have sinned so many times and I am sure I will many more. I let people here on earth make me think that even though I ask God for forgiveness for my sins and walk away from them that I will still be persecuted for them when I stand before Him. This friend reminded me of how little faith I have if that is really, what I believe. I know Gods word tells me to go before the Father and lay my sins before Him, asking for forgiveness, then walk away and forget because that is what Jesus does; He dumps it out of His mind. If this were not true then why in the world did He bother coming back to earth, to be beaten, ridiculed and nailed to a cross?

As the tears stream down my face, I glanced up and read the title I put here, facing the fear of the end, it hit me like a ton of bricks, shouldn’t I be fearing living, the sins of the world, the evil here on earth. Death is a new life, its redemption for what has been done to us here on earth. This new life will have no room in its many mansions for the likes of Satan. My friend also reminded me that Satan looks good; he has many temptations available to you for the taking. He is deceiving, manipulative, oh, he can wrap you around his little finger over, and over and over again, that is if you allow him to. He promises you a life of fire, pain, suffering, oh you can party all the time in hell, and sure, you like the heat. Well that is the other option isn’t it?

When starting to have a relationship with God, it is an acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior, and prayer that the end of life will find you ready to meet God and enter Heaven. The key to dying well is living well. Living well means a life characterized by love of God and love of neighbor.. Death is a certainty, we all face it, and nothing and no one can stop that. In the book of Romans, we read, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). We also read, "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus" (Romans 6:23). The Prince of Peace came to Earth so that each person might have peace with God. We must decide if we will accept God's gift of eternal life. If we reject God's gift, we are condemned to spiritual death -- eternal separation from God. If we do accept, however, then eternal life is ours.

While this eternal life does not mean we will escape physical death, we can face death a lot easier knowing that it leads to eternal life in heaven.

God loves you and has a plan for your life here on earth and an eternity in Heaven with Him. I hope I can be like Job and Fear God and shun evil so that I too will have a home in Heaven. I look forward to my time to be in God’s presence with no more fear, for there I shall have peace.

I choose God........................................................

God bless you my friends!

“A Prescription for Healing”

Romans 10 tell us that faith comes from hearing and hearing from the word of Christ. To help us believe God for healing ourselves, our friends and our families it helps to have a good grasp of the Scriptures concerning healing. As I have written many words on Gods healing, today I have found myself overwhelmed with pain. I pray for others but always have doubt that I deserve healing myself. So today this blog is for me.

Isaiah 53:4,5 Surely he hath borne our grief’s, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Psalms 107/l20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Jeremiah 17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed ; save me, and I shall be saved : for thou art my praise.

Affirmations:
I am healed in Jesus Name; By His stripes, I am healed!
I shall shout out my love for the Lord
For Greater is the Lord that is in me, than Satan who is in the world!

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever

I AM THE LORD THAT HEALETH YOU! IT TAKES FAITH IN ME TO RECEIVE YOUR HEALING! TRUST IN ME JESUS CHRIST!

Proverbs 4:20-23 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Precious Jesus, it is not your will that your people should suffer. I remember so well, how You took on suffering for us all. Keep me now from losing hope as I face once again my illness. I feel the pain and ask of God, "Let this cup pass from me." As I kneel with You in the garden, may I welcome another day with a prayer that echoes yours: "Not my will but Thine be done." Let me never forget how to laugh, for laughter is your gift to me to undo depression and heal the hurt of a sickness I cannot control. Take me into Your gentle embrace, for I know that whatever this day brings, You have paved my way with Your tears and redeemed me with Your victory. Amen.

Stumbling Blocks

Romans 14:13

Let us not therefore judge one another anymore: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Can you think of a time when God acted in your life – turning a perceived stumbling block into a stepping stone?

When faced with an obstacle, I realize I need to rely not on me, but on God, and that God will provide.

In the book of Joshua we meet the Israelites as they are preparing for the momentous point in their history when they are about to cross the Jordan River and enter the Promised Land. However, it was harvest time, and the river was in flood. Not exactly, the best time for a river crossing. An obstacle – a stumbling block to be sure.

I wonder if the people were remembering all the Lord had done for them previously when they were at the red sea and God parted it. As in the parting of the Red Sea, God again made a way when there was no way. The waters on the upstream side rose up in a heap and stood still, and the downstream side toward the Red Sea was cut off. God created a pathway along dry ground.

The living God lives among us. God does not abandon us when we find ourselves in the wilderness or when obstacles or challenges confront us.

The next time something or someone gets in your way, remember that God is with you, turn those blocks into stones and accept His help.

Drama

A drama queen/king is notoriously self-centered and self-absorbed, often viewing friends and relatives as lesser beings assigned to take care of his/her personal needs.

We all have drama kings and queens in our lives. You know who they are! These people enjoy creating drama or chaos. They thrive on stirring up conflict, adding fuel to the fire. They are in our families, they are in our friendships and they are in our workplaces. These people seek excitement and attention by playing the lead role in drama. Have you ever noticed how the drama king or queen is always the focal point, playing the victim? You did this to ME! This happened to ME! It is YOUR fault! Poor ME! You have seen this before. We all have. The good news is, we all have choice. We do not have to play their games, to be sucked into their drama; we have the choice to just let them wallow in their own self-pity, because that is after all what it is all about. It actually becomes very uncomfortable to be in the same space with dramatic people. You have to make a choice on whether you want to participate in the drama. On the other hand, you can choose to be silent. Observe without attaching any emotion to the situation. This is very difficult especially if it is coming from family members or loved ones. It is even more difficult when you become the object of the drama! Remember the one creating the drama is really projecting “it is all about ME.” In order not to be involved in their drama, one must consciously remember to not add fuel to their fire. Let them talk, rant, blame or whatever they are projecting onto you, as ‘their’ silent observer. Remember this is THEIR stage, this is their play. They will try their best to suck you in by blaming you; it is YOUR fault etc. Stand tall, holding your ground and listen. They will bait you by saying something about you; it will feel like a personal attack. That is what they are looking for, for you to play their game, for you to jump onto their stage and attack back! When you listen without adding any comments, what you are really doing is putting water on their fire. You see if you do not add the fuel, there is no longer a fire! They have nothing to create drama with because there are no players! Drama kings and queens need players.

Do not let the Drama king or queen takes over whom you are, because I find in my own personal life that it is just Satan in disguise. He wants you to be stirred up and scream and cry, and then He can just sit back and laugh. This gives Satan reason to laugh and to stay on your back, He has you all riled up inside and out now. How do I know this? At work lately all I have found is drama, as I wrote the other day, he says, she says, trying to come between others and me for their own glorifying so they look good. I was stupid and played right into their hands. I have talked to a few good Christian friends these past few days, they have reminded me to whom I live for, and how no one is hurt here but me. I let them get to me. Now, I have to let it go and let God handle the situations. I thought these people were my friends, but found out quickly they were not, they just used me or staged me as some say. Played me for a fool and succeeded.

I want to see what the Bible has to say about these kings and queens, also known as gossipers.

Leviticus 19:16. Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbor; I am the LORD

Proverbs 11:13 A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.

Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers

Father, I come before you asking this day for forgiveness for all my sins, and for a cleansing of my spirit. Father I ask that you give me a heart of forgiveness for all those who have used me and brought me into their playground. I ask Precious Father for a clear conscious and better spirit towards all. Father I ask for forgiveness to those who have been hurting me, for I forgive them in Jesus name. As I get ready to move forward in your works, I ask for your wisdom and encouragement to do all things for you and in your name. I love you Father and I thank you for loving me and enduring with the crap I have put you through. Thank you in Jesus name for allowing me to talk to you …In Jesus name I Pray, Amen!

Gideon

Judge 6:11 And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak, which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.

Gideon was called to be a leader during the Period of the Judges. Israel was being invaded by the Midianites at the time, which had come from the east on camels. To see if God would deliver Israel by his hand Gideon placed a fleece of wool on the ground. He asked that there be dew on the fleece, but that the ground would be dry. . God told him to reduce the number of his men by having them drink from a stream. Those who drank directly from the stream were sent home and those who scooped water in their hands were kept. Each warrior was given a trumpet, a jar, and a torch. At the signal, they blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Thrown into confusion, the Midianites fled before Gideon's men. After the victory, people asked Gideon to be their ruler, but he refused the honor.

Judge 6:36-40 36And Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said, 37Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. 38And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water. 39And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew. 40And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only and there was dew on all the ground. You can find the rest of the story in Judges 7:1-25.

Gideon was a mighty man of valor in God’s eyes. God sees us not just, as we are, but as we will be. In Judges 6:17, was Gideon right to ask for a sign? Sometimes it is good not to look at things in terms of "right or wrong" or "allowed vs. forbidden", but rather in terms of what is best. This probably was not best to require the sign; if Gideon’s faith had been greater, he would not have needed it.

Regardless of his amount of faith, God answered his request. God graciously met Gideon where he was, whether it was in a winepress or in the midst of his doubts, and dealt with his doubts. God deals with each person where they are, and God is gracious today, too.

How many times in your life have you had little faith and God still came thru for you? I know I have a few times, especially when it has come to health issues. God had other opportunities to bring Israel out of the path of the bad, but as I read the book of Judges I realize this, but then how would Gideon been used by God to deliver them from the Midianites. Even thru all this, Gideon had to lose his own brother in this war, from what I read I am assuming that was because he too worshipped the idol of Baal. Think about that for a moment, how would you feel knowing that at your hand your own blood brother would be killed. Are you ready to trust God and His ways? God will allow things to happen in your life, are you ready and willing to go to Him and ask for His guidance, wisdom and helping hand? I know I am. I was happy to read that Gideon didn’t accept the honor of being the ruler because he knew he wasn’t, that God was the only Ruler. God is still the only Ruler!

I am not willing to test God; I am only willing to Trust God!

“Are you in your own way?”

Last night I visited a church I grew up in to listen to my nephew Josh as he was going to be giving the message. A few days earlier on Sunday, he had said he thought he would talk about getting in your own way because when the pastor had asked him to do the service, he originally said no, then decided that why not, the answer was because I am getting in my own way. I thought about what he was saying as I laid down to sleep last night and again when I woke up this morning and realized that is exactly what holds us back from doing God’s work. We do! I wanted to pursue this subject even further than Josh did, so I dedicate this blog to Josh and Thank God for letting his service touch a spot in me.

“We don’t always want to undertake the necessary steps needed to do what is necessary to walk the path to get to Heaven, but we have to start somewhere. We do not want to have to do things we are uncomfortable doing, like “putting ourselves out there.” We do not stop to think about the sacrifices we might need to make along the way in order to reach our final goal or destination. If you want to succeed in life, you will have to get out of your own way and step over your fears. You know the best way to move forward is to ignore those fears. We are all going to face roadblocks in our life, they come in many forms and fashions, but not one of them can put a stop to you reaching your destination besides yourself.

You are a work in progress, you will stumble on your way, and you will even fall. However, Praise God you have someone to pick you up, Jesus Christ!

Get rid of the negativity in your life, stomp Satan out in Jesus name and move forward down the path of righteousness. Get out of your own way right now before you are standing before God with every excuse possible as to why you continuously sinned. That will be too late. God sees thru you, He knows every thought you have, He knows where you will be in five years. However, He gives you every opportunity to change what is wrong in your life. Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding.

(Job 19:25, 26, 27 KJV). I know that my Redeemer lives, and that He shall stand at last on the earth' 26And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

For me Job is such a great example of someone who did not get in his own way, He trusted in God from the beginning. No matter what obstacle was thrown before him, he did not give in. Job was a righteous man, feared God, and avoided all evils, but God allowed disaster to fall upon him. What is even more painful to Job was that not only did he not receive understanding and comfort from his three friends, but also they have persistently criticized him. They were certain that Job’s suffering was because of his sin, but Job argued with them because he had to stand up for his own innocence. When disaster fell upon Job, God kept silent until Job 38-41 when He spoke. Within the few chapters, God asked Job question after question that touched upon the secrets of the world. He wanted Job to understand that in reality of a person’s life, there are many things that we cannot understand, and will not be able to explain either. However, God does not owe us any answers or reasons. Job kept true to himself. Job’s friends sounded very reasonable, and spiritual, and Elihu’s comments were even stated rightly; Job’s defense was very week and he was not able to give any evidence to justify his innocence. However, Job did not hide his conscience and honestly faced God and himself, believing in the existing of the living God, and said, “But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as Gold.” (Job 23:10)

What would have happened if Job had given in to the nonsense and allowed everyone to get to him, He did not get in his own way. He trusted in God from day one and walked in faith.

Let go of your fears so that you too can get out of your own way. Praise God, Glory to the Mighty I Am!

God bless you Joshua, Keep your eyes on God and do not let anyone or anything get in your way. In addition, please GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY!

"The Art of Deception"

The Art of Deception is about gaining someone’s trust by lying to them and then abusing that trust for fun and profit.

The master of deception is none other than Satan. He wants you to succeed and be prosperous if you will only do things his way. Do you understand that, if you will do things his way? First, he convinces you he is not Satan at all. He wants you to believe he is of good spirit and has your best interest at heart. Satan is smarter than most people imagine and God has given him extensive powers in order to deceive people, God allows him to get to the best of us. God also equips each of us with the knowledge to know good from bad. God is in control of evil as well as good. Isaiah 45: 5-7 5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: 6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

1John 5:19 19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Lies, deception, and cons are my games. All I have to do to create havoc and destruction here on earth is to disguise myself as a promoter of what seems like a good cause. I love to offer you all those things that look good, tease you with them. Like your neighbor’s wife or even that shiny new lawn mower they have, oh come on it will not hurt you to borrow it, laughing, go ahead ask her out for coffee, it will not hurt anyone; surely, if you sleep with her it will be forgiven.

What is the price of little lies and some deception anyway, who will it hurt, oh come on now. You will love the place I have prepared for you.

The price is spending eternity in a place that is very hot and extremely uncomfortable. You are prepared for that, you been living this life of deception? A life of burning, being with those just like you, nothing but thieves, complainers, murderers, you know a little pain amongst friends. Fighting, starving, well come on you deceived us all what is a little anger now, what happened, were you caught?

Know the truth and live the truth, the truth is Jesus Christ…

Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. 15 Thou shalt not steal. 16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house; thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbor's.

Satan is great at making he look good to you, to talking you into doing deceiving things towards others. You have to remember that Satan is a fallen angel; He was Gods favorite and best. Seek deep within yourself before you do things that seem wrong, get on your knees and ask God to intercede and help you to make wise decisions in all things that you do here on earth. Satan will try to convince you that it will not hurt anything, all the while he will be laughing his head off, knowing he has you in his pocket.

Job27:4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

Father, we are confronted with deception on many fronts every day, so much so, that we can be deceived without even realizing it. Would you help us to watch out and be on our guard so that we are not deceived by man’s words, no matter how convincing they are, how charming their personality. We seek you for strength and discipline. We search the Scriptures for discernment and the true revelation of who Jesus is. Thank you Father in Jesus Holy name, Amen!

"JASPER"

Jasper is mentioned very early in Bible History as one of the twelve gems of the High Priest's breastplate, and in Prophecy, as in one of the foundations of the New Jerusalem.

"And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold"

19And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; Revelation 21:19

3 And he that sat was to look upon like jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Revelation 4:3

Exodus chapter 39 you will find how all the many stones were used and for what purpose and what the meaning is, for example: V1. And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses’.

"The Jasper, the last stone in the Old Testament breastplate, represented Benjamin. This was a clear stone, speaking of total victory. On the Jasper stone was Benjamin's name, which is a combination of two Hebrew words (BEN and JAMIN), so scholars tell us, meaning 'the son of my right hand'...or, as one authority puts it, 'the son of my power.' The first and last stones pointed forward to the first and second coming of the great High Priest--none other than the Lord Jesus Christ.

"However, here in Revelation 4, the order of the stones is reversed. John the Beloved sees Him (Jesus) first as the Jasper and second as the Sardius. The reason is clear: In the Old Testament the saints looked forward to the day when the Lamb would come, they looked forward to the cross, and therefore saw the Sardius...the blood-red stone...first. They looked beyond that and saw the Jasper, the clear white stone representing His power and His rule at His second coming to set up the kingdom. However, when John had the experience we are now studying, he was on this side of Calvary and the Rapture, and was looking back. John saw, first of all, the Jasper stone, the clear one--and then the red stone, the cross and sacrifice."

Today I was lying down and just thinking about how Beautiful Heaven will be, and thinking about the building of this city. The Jasper stone came to mind as I have heard it many times growing up. The stone and stones are mentioned in several places in the Bible, so I wanted to look into the meaning, I hope the information I came up with will give you a better outlook as well.

God Bless you my friends!

“Living on a Tightrope”

I do not know about you but I feel like I am living my life on a tightrope, tied so tight I cannot breathe. I cannot seem to do anything right, cannot please anyone. He says, she says bull crap. You know those so-called friends in life. The ones who butter you up so they can drag information out of you, and even when you do not say anything, they say you do. Alternatively, those that belittle you until you just hope you fall off that tight rope. That is where my life is today. Dealing with pain is hard enough and then you have the creepy black objects (Satan) following every little footstep that I make. I know I am not alone with this. I came home in tears today, just trying to survive the pain. It is at this time I know I have to seek God, for I cannot do this alone.

The following comes to mind; maintain a sense of purpose, keep negative thoughts out of the way, hold tight onto self-confidence, keep a sense of balance, develop and maintain a strong support system, and gather knowledge and use it to your best advantage.

Let us look at these together; sense of purpose- The Bible brings a sense of life in itself. It gives us knowledge and understanding; it allows us to see just how much God loves us. God had a purpose for our lives when He gave us life.

Negative thoughts: I personally think it is safe to say that peace of mind is only possible if we learn to stop negative thinking. Sometimes it is just a matter of training your mind to think positive, and stop wasting energy being negative. “For God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him and are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 Think on good things. Think about all the blessings you have and dwell on them. Make a list of your blessings at a time when you are not already upset and then keep it with me.

Self-confidence: Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5. When we know without a shadow of doubt that God is for us, we develop the self-confidence we need to succeed. Do not get me wrong. Self-confidence is not arrogance. Its pride in yourself, assurity that knowing God will give you the confidence you need in life. As your confidence grows in God, so will your confidence in yourself.

A sense of balance: There is no reason for Bible study if you do not live your life richly with God at your hand. You have to find balance in life. God knows that times will not always be great here, that we will suffer from many things. However, He gives us tools such as the Bible, and good people to be with so that we are balanced.

Strong support system: A strong support system improves your confidence and your success in life. We all need encouragement from our family and friends, unfortunately, we do not always get that, so we have to step out of our boundaries and seek Gods people. Sometimes we find as I did today that those you thought loved you and had your best interest at hand really did not. They were just for themselves. There is one to who always supports and loves me unconditionally and that is Jesus Christ.

Knowledge: 6That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. 7I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 45:6,7.

As I finish this up, I find tears, and not because I am sad, but because I let, others hurt me today and did not step back and ask God in. Please take this advice the next time someone is on your back and realize you do not have to take it. God will intercede and be there for you…Just ask.

God bless you all my friends!

"Seeking God"

Deuteronomy 4:29 But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

For the past seven months, I have been seeking God, searching for answers within my spirit. I have seen much change in myself. I do not let things get to me as fast as I used to. I try to think things through now and put myself in others life before I speak. I am on my way, it’s a long journey and I know I won’t ever have all the answers, however the word tells me if I seek with all my heart and soul I will find Him. I hope you will continue to follow me on this journey.

I have found that nothing in life is worth having unless you are willing to work for it. The best things in life are the most difficult to attain. If it was easy, it would be cheap; if anybody can have it, then it really is without substance or value. A great relationship does not come without effort. You must make the effort to talk, to listen, to ask, to inquire, to care, to help, to share, to encourage. This is all part of seeking God. Aren’t you glad that He cares enough about you to watch over you every day. We please God when we seek Him and ask for His guidance and wisdom. When we seek God, it takes effort and lots of patience, because we have the devil on our skirt/pant tails pulling us down.

When you are seeking God, He needs you to use your whole heart and soul. When you are going through difficult times and you feel like where is God, take a second and think about how you are seeking him, is it just for the time because u need something or have you continuously sought after Him with your all? If you are seeking God for the wrong reasons, do not waste your time, God is not ignorant, and He doesn’t think as we do. Be open and ready to receive what you ask for if you truly are seeking Him for all the right reasons. God is looking for that ongoing relationship. When he sees your open heart and your desire to get to know him for whom he is, his heart opens to hear all you have to say. God's only desire is to be part of your life and mine. His desire is to have a living and loving relationship with His people.

Father, teach me to seek you, to find wisdom, please reveal yourself to me Father so that I may learn the ways of life that you have planned for me. I love you Father in the Precious name of Jesus. Amen!
