Do you spend all your time just having fun? Do you put fun before God? When your "fun" is self-involved or indulgent it takes away from your faith and your witness. Sinful activity does not need to be a part of an activity to make it fun. There is plenty of joy to be had without sin.
Ecclesiastes 8:15 (King James Version)Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 21 I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity. 2 I said of laughter, It is mad: and of mirth, what doeth it? 3 I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.
Proverbs 13:9 KJV The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
Proverbs 16:20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.
God really wants for us to have fun, to laugh, to have plans, to celebrate life, however He wants us to prioritize our life.
Isaiah 25:6-12 (King James Version) 6And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
The Bible speaks of celebration at different times in the bible, such as in the above scripture
Lucy Swindoll once said give yourself a gift. Grab your Bible, a pencil, notepad, and cup of coffee…maybe even a friend…and get started. I assure you~you’ll never be sorry.
This is some of most sound advice I have read…This is where all happiness begins, with God!!!!!!!!!!!!
Psalm 118:1 God is Good
You will find true happiness in your life when you put Jesus first. Make a list of what is missing in your life, and then make a list of all that you have to be thankful for already. If you are still trying to figure out what your life is all about, then it is time you look to the Father for answers. I personally will be seeking God for advice on which direction He wants me to go next. I ask for your prayers as I will be praying for each of you.
God bless you my friends!

Weakness finds Strength
Have you ever felt so weak that you didn’t think you could accomplish anything? This week I have been so weak in strength that all I have wanted to do is sleep. It is like my body wants to rest all the time. Have you ever tried to lift a set of weights that you just knew were too heavy, but yet you found the strength to lift them, rather of pride or fear of disappointing yourself. I went to the eye doctor today and I was told my eyes look tired, I explained that I have rested but yet I just can’t find strength to stay awake. On the way home I was trying to figure out why I feel so weak, and how I can find strength again.
I received this message; did you know that the more you lift those weights, the stronger your muscles will get? What if I told you that the weaker you are, the stronger you will become. I was like, what? My eyes are tired and you are telling me to lift more weights. When you realize you are weak, you will rely more on God. God will give you a different kind of strength, a spiritual strength. When you have strength in me, you will find the strength it takes to do the other things that are before you, rather that is lifting weights or the strength to stay awake. You will see that you are stronger in the things that matter to God. He wants you to grow stronger spiritually just as much as he wants you to have a healthy, strong body. What a powerful message this was. I thought I had been seeking God for strength, however I didn’t realize I wasn’t really, I was blaming my weakness on the worldly things and letting Satan control my physical body, by allowing him to make me weak.
Hebrews 11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
I hope that you will decide today that you too will get yourself in shape spiritually and be strong for God. Thru you weakness you can become stronger.
Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! —Psalm 105:4
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. —2 Corinthians 12:9-10
I may be weak in the physical sense, but I am strong in the word of my Lord and Savior. My eyes may be tired, and my muscles weak but with my eyes on God for strength I will find the answer, for He is the ANSWER…
Ask for your strength today and get your answers.

Scared? Yes or No?
You have just been diagnosed with a chronic disease; they don’t give you many choices for treatment. You are scared to say no, but yet you know the alternative. Is there an ever after, what if I go tonight, I haven’t believed up to now, so why should I now?
These are fears that cross everyone’s mind when something is going really bad, but what about the one who doesn’t know Christ? How shall they get thru this bad news? What will it take for them to see that without God there is no thereafter?
You have cried buffalo tears, but no one hears them. My friend someone does hear them, and He feels them as well. He knows what you are going through, and He needs for you to cry out to him. Believe me my friend He is as hungry for you as you are in need of Him. Life hasn’t been so great up to this point, so why not give God a chance, what do you have to lose?
God loves you so much and doesn’t want you to go through this alone, His word reassures us of this: Romans 5:6-11 (Kjv)6For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Jesus knows the intentions of your heart; He is ready to receive you into His arms. He loves you so much that he wants you to know him now and spend eternity with him. Jesus said, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." Jesus came so that each of us could know and understand God in a personal way. Jesus alone can bring meaning and purpose to your life. Now it is up to you to pray to the unknown and believe in the unknown, accept that He is Jesus the son of Christ, so that you too may live in Him eternally in Heaven after your time here is over. Jesus not only died for our sin, he rose from the dead. When he did, he proved beyond doubt that he can rightfully promise eternal life -- that he is the Son of God and the only means by which we can know God. That is why Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one can come to the Father except through me." Instead of doubting God, he tells you how you can begin a relationship with him right now. Jesus says, "Come to me." "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me... out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." It was Jesus' love for us that caused him to endure the cross.
My friend, God hears you, Give Him your heart! I speak healing over this friend’s heart and soul today; I pray that whoever reads this will be in agreement with me on their behalf. God bless you my friends!

“Passing on the key for Christ”
God has purposely placed each of us into personal relationships with people He desires. Who has God brought to you where you have a unique opportunity and relationship to offer the keys to the greatest gift ever - eternal life in heaven? Did you know that you can become a part of God's family by grace through faith? Sometimes we hold on to the key in fear of getting out there, fear of being embarrassed, and fear of being pushed away. There are so many reasons we haven’t passed the key for Jesus around, and fear is the number one reason. Are you scared of being ridiculed?
Passing out keys starts with being prepared, being ready to witness to others, being and evangelist for the Lord. However to be able to be an evangelist we have to be willing to earn our own key, we must work diligently for our Savior, have faith, trust, and never underestimate God’s love for us. Passing on what we have learned about God is a good starting place, teaching those around us about the power of prayer that in itself is a big key.
1 Peter 3:14-16 (King James Version) 14But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; 15But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 16Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
We should pray that all Christians become passers of the key of Christ, ready to spread Gods good news, ready to show others in our actions what God has done for us from the moment He walked this earth, till He walked his final steps to the Cross and gave His life for us. Jesus passed the key for His Father, He taught us right from wrong, He gave us forgiveness and understanding, He showed us how we too have to trust our Heavenly Father. Jesus walked this earth and passed out many keys so that we might know Heaven is awaiting us. Now it is up to you to take that walk of faith and start passing out keys to knowing Christ. Take time and get prepared, then go witness to others. God will be with you every step of the way. .
Will your keys lead to Christ?

Are you Lazy
Did you wake up today and wish you could just stay in the bed, Ignoring all around you. Do you think your housework will get done on it’s on? Do you just feel lazy, or is it the rest around you that are lazy and you are tired of doing your work and theirs? I work with someone who is always putting their things off on whoever the target may be at the time. I watch as they are always leaving things lying around, too lazy to pick up after themselves.
Proverbs 13:4 4 the soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.
Proverbs 19:15 15 Laziness casts one into a deep sleep, and an idle person will suffer hunger. The Bible is clear that, because the Lord ordained work for man, laziness is sin. “Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise” (Proverbs 6:6).
Proverbs is filled with wisdom concerning laziness and warnings to the lazy person. Proverbs tells us that a lazy person hates work: “The sluggard's craving will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work” (21:25); he loves sleep: “As a door turns on its hinges, so a sluggard turns on his bed” (26:14); he gives excuses: “The sluggard says, ‘There is a lion in the road, a fierce lion roaming the streets’” (26:13); he wastes time and energy: “He who is slothful in his work is a brother to him who is a great waster” (18:9 KJV); he believes he is wise, but is a fool: “The sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who answer discreetly” (26:16).
God loves when we earn our keep and help others as well, but don’t let laziness take over your life, for depression will soon fall in your path. Which we all know is the devil’s way.
Persistent laziness should not be permitted. Hard work should characterize the Christian's life-style. Lazy people are not successful people. Lazy people do not have good judgment.
2 Thessalonians 3:6-15 (King James Version) 6Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. 7For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; 8Neither did we eat any man's bread for naught; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: 9Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. 10For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. 11For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. 12Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. 13But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. 14And if any man obeys not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. 15Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
As you see the bible says a lot about laziness, so the next time you just want to let someone else do all the work, think about how God is feeling towards you and your ways. One of my big issues in this lifetime is that I can be incredibly lazy. Even when I'm feeling motivated, I have a very hard time acting to being my desires into fruition.
Our Heavenly Father I come before you in need today for myself and others, Please hear my cries, I hate that I sleep way too late (when i say way too late, i mean waaaaay too late), i pray for more motivational energy, and for the divine to kick my butt into action! I'd appreciate any positive thoughts you can send my way Father. I ask that abundant Divine Grace be showered upon me. Father I ask that you give me Divine Inspiration and allow your angels to guide me in this process of discovering a new passion, today and always. Father give me encouragement to live life to its fullest and to walk a path in your righteousness. Amen!

“The fall of Egypt”
The turmoil in Egypt has been in the works for centuries, right in front of our eyes. The Lord showed it all to us, however it was ignored. As now as they fight in the streets over their own freedom they have left God out. They worship false Gods. There will be those who seek Gods face, who will be condemned, but as a reminder this is Gods land, Gods country. All that go against Him will fall. The Egyptians will be handed over to a hard master, fierce king as stated in Isaiah 19. Violence and anger in Egypt will not make things go away in their land.
Tens of thousands of Egyptians streamed out of mosques after Friday prayers and took to the streets to demand the resignation of their President after 30 years in power. I saw this on the news today and it brought chills to my spine to see what is going on in this world that we live in. Read that number again, tens of thousands,( after prayer). Who are they praying to? Do we know the answer to this? False Gods? This country needs our prayers; they need to know the Heavenly Father. We have to reach out to the lost sheep of this country.
Revelation11:8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
Isaiah1:10Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
Isaiah 3:9The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! For they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
Isaiah 19:1-4 1An oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. 2And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, each against another and each against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom; 3and the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their counsel; and they will inquire of the idols and the sorcerers, and the mediums and the necromancers;4and I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a hard master, and a fierce king will rule over them, declares the Lord GOD of hosts.
I let the scripture speak for itself as I hope that millions of us will seek God on their behalf and get the message of unity in God’s name in their country. Let all the false idols fall at Gods hand. A lost Egypt, is it being televised for us to see for a reason? Please think about that as you pray.
God Bless you my friends!

Tears
Trusting God when times are difficult usually is very hard for us to do. It isn’t always easy putting our trust in someone we cannot see. When I am feeling like this I like to remember Hagar in the Bible, A maidservant for Abram and Sarai.
Hagar was a woman of courage and endurance. Hagar was the Egyptian slave of Sarah; she was made pregnant by Abraham, the husband of Sarah. While she was pregnant, God promised that her child would be the ancestor of a great nation. Hagar was never fully accepted into the Hebrew group despite being the mother of Abraham’s child. In the end she was rejected completely, and expelled. But she was protected by God against the hatred of Sarah, and in the end lived as a free woman, no longer a slave. Hagar lived thru hatred of another woman, fear of losing her life, fear of losing her son to death. However Hagar turned to God when it counted the most, she was a strong lady, she took her child and went into a desert to reach her own people almost making it their when an angel of God told her to go back to Abram and Sarai and have her baby, because God had plans for her son, she could of kept going but she didn’t she turned around and went back to the woman who despised her, and wanted her dead. Hagar trusted Gods message. This is what I love and it gives me encouragement to just trust God when things feel like they will never be right.
As I have cried most of the day due to situations I found myself reaching for God to comfort me where I couldn’t find it within. I felt today as if I were lost in the desert with nowhere to turn. I felt like I just cannot do anything right; everything is tumbling down around me. I close today with a tear and a heart seeking to hear Gods message.
I love you my friends!
