Plan of Action

Are you making plans to live a life for Jesus? Are you trying to skip some of the essential steps necessary to live a life Where Jesus is the Head of your household?

This is where I would start;

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Hebrew 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee

When David arrived God said "Rise and anoint him; he is the one." Samuel anointed David with oil. Then the Spirit of the Lord came on David in power. The new king had been chosen! But he wasn't the new king, yet. God had more plans to be worked out first.
Since King Saul had this evil spirit bugging him, his advisors told him to get a harp player in the house. They thought the music would calm Saul down. They ended up getting this kid named David (Yep. The same one!) to play the harp. Well, David had the Spirit of God in him, so when he would hang around Saul the evil spirit would run away like crazy. King Saul felt better with David around. He liked him so much that he gave him a promotion to armor bearer.
That put David to be in the position that he was in when Goliath was giving the Israelites a hard time. If he had not been an armor bearer for the king, Saul might never have let him knock out old Goliath. David might never have been king. He wouldn't have been the great forefather of our Lord, Jesus!

God has a plan for you. Are you taking action?
Are you reading your Bible to prepare your spiritual and moral life? Are you talking to God every day so that you will know what his plan is for you? Are you studying hard in school so that you'll be prepared for any job he has for you? David did!

Go before God thru His Son Jesus Christ and ask first for deliverance of all your sins, then leave them behind..Ask for wisdom on how to live a life with love, harmony and peace thru Christ. Get the tools necessary, a Bible, study Bible as well if you can, read books on how to pray, keep it simple, God wants your heart not words. I ask Jesus to watch over you today as you start this new journey. Trust and believe for He will never forsake you...He gave His only Son on that cross so that we could have eternal life. Thank him for that. God bless each of you.
