Ephesians 4:29; Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Ephesians 5:3-4 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
I Peter 4:10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.
1. Do and say only those things, which build up – never tear down
2. Treat those you are with, as you want them to treat you
3. Show proper respect to authority, elders, and guests
4. A chivalrous person pursues purity in word and deed
5. Gentlemen always take the lead in being chivalrous
6. “Please” and “Thank You” are never used enough
7. A chivalrous person is always looking to serve
8. A chivalrous woman is never immodest in her dress or coarse in her talk
9. A gentlemen always protects, presents, and defends
10. Above all, chivalry displays a respect and love for others that never stops growing.
The spirituality of Chivalry calls us, as individuals, to relate with truth in an honest and forthcoming way, not as passive followers, but as active seekers. It calls us to think and feel with consciousness of the moment, seeing through illusions that otherwise blind or deceive us. Be as Jesus was, treat others with respect and understanding, try to relate to what others might be going thru, give understanding and care.
Don’t hesitate to do well unto others, Jesus didn’t…
"I Am, That I Am,"
"Be still, and know that I am God."
Brenda what a awesome blog as so many do take for granted that God is only there to be prayed with and not look at other should treated the way you would like to be treated.I to am who I am only.
