Feeling Others Pain

Have you ever felt the pain someone else is going thru, the tears they cry? More and more each day there is devastation around us, does it affect you, or are you able to walk away and forget? I feel your pain; the tears burn my cheek, that’s how God feels.

God knows us because He became one of us. Attention is a poor substitute for love but it seems better than nothing at all. We may develop physical symptoms. The symptoms cause us genuine pain, but the pain of sickness is more bearable than the pain of admitting that nobody cares. We may angrily lash out at those whom we think should care or we may try to run away from them and hide, but in either case, we are trying to protect ourselves from the hurt they are causing us by their lack of concern. We all need to know that somebody loves us. My job here is to let you know you are never alone; you are always loved, for see God loves us unconditionally.

Whenever we are tempted to think that nobody loves us, we need to think of the cross. Jesus bore that shame and suffering because He loves us. He values us so highly that He was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to secure for us eternal joy. Knowing Him intimately will motivate us to make some sacrifices for the good of others, for our spouses, our children, and other members of the body of Christ. It will help us give up what we want in order to minister to their needs. There is not one good thing in any of us that merits God’s love. He does not love us because we are so lovable or because we can somehow make ourselves worthy of His love. We are totally unworthy, yet He prizes us highly and showers His very best on us. It is His love for us that gives us our worth. God finds great delight and receives great glory when we respond to His love, enter His fellowship, and do His will. In fact, He made us for that purpose. But whether or not we ever return His love, He keeps on extending it to us. There is nothing we can do to make Him love us any more, and nothing we ever do will cause Him to love us any less. He loves us perfectly and completely regardless of how we perform. His love is unconditional. The command to endure suffering is just another part of a Christian's life, like the command to study the Bible, pray, worship, etc. Faithful Christians of all ages have suffered; we are not the only ones. We should expect suffering to come, so our faith will not be shaken when it does.

The ultimate and primary blame for suffering rests on Satan who tempts people to sin and thereby brought sin into the world. The secondary blame rests upon people, we included, and who have given in to temptation and committed sin that led to suffering.

Yes, God did create suffering as a punishment for sin, but only after He had given people a life without problems and had warned them of the consequences of sin.

Remember, if you blame God and reject Him because you are suffering, then you are doing exactly what Satan wants you to do. He has defeated you! The only way to defeat Satan and really overcome hardship is to maintain your faithfulness to God in spite of it.

Step out of yourself and think of others, just maybe you will realize that your life is only as bad as you allow it to be. God is there to help you understand, ask Him. Reach out and help someone else with their pain…God bless you my friends…

Hurt? Love?

Have you ever wondered how you fell in love with someone or how you can love so many? Do we even know what love is? These are two good questions to ask yourself, then dig within yourself and see how you can change, can you love better, why do we love some differently than others?

In our day, most define love as some type of feeling. We "fall in love," or two people meet and it is "love at first sight." Nevertheless, the world's love is a selfish matter. If you are attractive to me, be nice to me, meet my needs and love me I in return will "love" you. Does this sound familiar to you?

Romans 5:8 says ". . . commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." The lost sinner living in rebellion and sin is still loved by the Lord. He loved us enough to die for us and pay our sin debt while we were sinning against Him. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) This is the action of totally being committed to the well being of others without regard for their worthiness even unto death. Jesus demonstrated that love when He suffered and died for our sins.

I find that in our society people take little of these scriptures at face value, Jesus loves us, He showed us that. People use the word love like any other word; it is probably the most misused word in the world. I find that with the word comes hurt and pain,

So many think they have real love, and they do, but not where they think, see with Jesus you have Agape love, there is no greater love, and never will be. So if you are out there and hurting because you were mistreated, mistrusted, or just because the person has nothing better to do with their life than hurt others, turn to a real love, JESUS CHRIST, He won’t turn His back on you like the men and women of this universe. Before you hurt someone else, talk to God, and think about the other person.

A true love for God, based on His immeasurable love for us...will keep you going when life is black as pitch and trouble is on every side. True biblical love will not be a roller coaster ride...it will keep you confidently moving ever forward...steadily for the Lord. I want that love. I love so easily, and hurt so heavily, but I forgive, as I know I have the greatest love ever, that of my Lord and Savior.

God bless you my friends…

“Forgive, Be the Better Person”

To forgive someone means to not seek revenge on the one who has hurt you. It means letting go of the anger we harbor inside us and allowing God to deal with him or her as He, in his perfect wisdom, sees fit.

It does not mean excusing a wrong or denying that it ever happened. It means we do not allow ourselves to be consumed with anger towards the one who has done something to us. Instead of cursing him, we pray for him. Have you ever had anyone in your life use you, mistreat you, or just even plain ole lie to you. Well, I can tell you this, it hurts, however it is not the end of the world. God’s word is clear on this subject. “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. (Matthew 5:44) “Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate when people say unkind things about you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God wants you to do, and he will bless you for it.” (1 Peter 3:9)

Forgiving others may seem to be a choice, and in one sense it is a choice, but God has been very clear about forgiveness. He has given us specific direction in numerous Scriptures, all of which can be summed up in just one word -- forgive! God's Word says, "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins" (Mark 11:25). "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven" (Luke 6:37).For those that have used, hurt, said spiteful things to me and about me, I forgive you today in Jesus Holy Name, Amen!

Will the suffering ever end?

We tend to be comfortable believing in God when all is going our way. But let tragedy strike and we can quickly begin to doubt His very existence. We will all suffer at some time. While it is never pleasant, both history and the Bible show that suffering can, in the end, produce good. Keeping this in mind can help us better learn to deal with suffering and accept it. God has a great purpose and plan that extends beyond this life. The world will finally see an end to suffering, but it won’t come through human effort. Bible prophecy reveals how that wonderful future will finally come about!

King David wrote in Psalm 23 about walking through "the shadow of death." Jesus Christ learned by His difficult circumstances and experiences (Hebrews 5:8), and so can we. When we focus on pain, we often forget how good life has been to us. Paul said we should always be thankful (Philippians 4:6). He also explained that the result of giving thanks is a "peace which surpasses all understanding" (verse 7).6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Many people undergoing severe trials make the mistake of trying to handle them alone. Without question, those who reach out to others in times of need benefit from doing so. We need human contact. "Two are better than one ... But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

When we try to deal with our suffering and trials alone, we tend to curl up and give up, this is not what God has intended as you see in Ecclesiastes, He wants you to reach out. What God promises for our future is beyond our own understanding, however He assures us of a place of no more pain, or suffering. As I have written before, God did not promise us a pain free body, He promised that He will be with us thru it all and will not allow anymore than you can handle, and Yes, He knows what that is. He tests our faith thru these times to see if we can withstand. Could you have withstood what Jesus went thru and kept your eyes focused on the prize ahead? He knew He had to go thru the pain and suffering for us. So the next time you feel you just can not go on, think about that and realize God loves you, and He will not forsake you, He will however test your faith, please don’t let Him down. God loves you, Be patient in all things that you ask, for if you believe and trust in God, all things are possible.

God bless you, my friends!

What are you shopping for?

Over this past year I have been in a rut, I loved my church family, a very small church, and very few people. I was in hopes of helping get Gods message out there and bring more people in, when things just fell apart. The pastor was going through things, a few losses, and illness in their own family. A resistance I would say to let anyone help in the Church, to relinquish any authority. It became to me a house, and not a home. I had to pray, ask, and seek a decision. It hurt me to walk away, however I knew I had to.

I find myself shopping for a new Church and I cannot seem to know what it is exactly that I need. I know I am probably not alone in a decision of finding a church that will drive you to be excited and encouraged to drive to the destination. I am reaching out to God for His divine help, for I do not even know where to begin. I began life in God's family just as I began it in my parents' family as a baby, and I out grew my family in some ways and had to move out and grow up, just as I am finding I have now outgrown my church.

When searching for a church makes sure that they believe that the Bible is the accurate Word of God, that Jesus Christ is God's Son, that He is fully God and man, and that only through faith in Jesus Christ can a person have eternal life. That is what I am searching for, a place where it is noticeable that God is present; a place where there are real Christians who believe in prayers and helping those less fortunate.

Once you have found this, first thank God, and then start developing a new relationship with Him. God is love, understanding, forgiveness to name a few. Towards the end of the book of 1 John, you will find just how much God loves you. As a child, God was instilled in you, now it’s time for you to give back. Show your love of Christ so that others see it in you. Finding a church means finding God in your spirit and soul. It is not a building, it is a relationship with your best friend, and it is an unending love.

Accept Christ today, find a house of worship and start talking Jesus up to all those you meet, and make an effort to meet those that are lost.

God bless you my friends.

How to know when a man is in love with you?

Today many things have gone through my mind. Let’s say the brain had a busy work day, so now its time to get down to the facts and I want to do that by starting with some ways to know if your man loves you.

One of the most obvious signs that a man is in love with you is that he tells you, over and over. Men who are crazy about a woman want to openly express it. For many men, saying those words doesn't come easily. Another thing to watch for that suggests that a man has deep feelings is that he wants to make your life better. He'll ask what he can do to help you in any way, and he'll do whatever he can to ensure your life is full and happy. Men that really love you want to be close to those they adore and they will often call or email if you two are apart. If a man is in love with you he'll have a genuine concern for the things you are going through, He will ask about mundane everyday things and also will be emotionally invested in your life. If a man is willing to drop everything to listen to your problems or help you with something, he has strong feelings for you.

This next sign to me is the most important, at least to me. When a man is in love with you he will share his own feelings with you. He'll talk about his fears and the things that make him happy. A man who isn't in love may be afraid to be emotionally vulnerable. When a man loves you, he'll open up to you. How many of you have met this man, the one who will not open up no matter how much we try to get him too.

I said all this about when a man is in love with you to get to one major point. There is one man who loves you unconditionally, you have His undivided attention. He is in love with all His children, that man is Jesus Christ.

John 4:16 (King James Version) 16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God and God in him.

Our relationship to God is like the loving relationship between a child and parent. Like a loving parent, God knows and cares deeply for each of us: Luke 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Not everyone loves Jesus the way I do, and some not at all. For those I ask in Jesus name for His divine touch in their life and hope that He will let them see just how much He loves them, and how it’s not Him but Satan that takes that feeling of love away.

When you look into your man’s eyes, look deep into that soul, listen carefully as He talks to you, and don’t be afraid to share your feelings with Him. If He hears you, then you are on the right path to finding if that man is in love with you. Just don’t ever leave out the Man that truly loves you unconditionally, Jesus Christ.

I love you all my friends!

Who is keeping Score in your life?

Every day somewhere, someone is keeping score, at the softball, soccer, and basketball or football game. Is anyone keeping score in your life? Do you feel like every move you make, someone will grade you? I do sometimes, but one thing I am sure of and that is that God does not score me.

You need to understand that God does not keep score in the sense that if we could only get enough points, then we would win salvation. The Bible teaches us that salvation is not something that we earn. Jesus said in Luke 17:10, “So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, we are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.” When we do everything that God tells us, we still have not earned our salvation. We are still dependent upon Him for eternal life. Salvation is a gift that God gives upon the condition of faith and obedience (see Hebrews 11:6 and Hebrews 5:9). Neither our faith nor our obedience earns our salvation; but God promises to give us salvation when we trust and obey Him. It is the promise of God in which we trust, not in our own faith or obedience. In that regard, God does not keep score because no matter how high a score we get, we will never be high enough to earn our salvation.

The next time someone keeps score on you, think about just how much Jesus loves you. He forgives all your sins for the asking. You can sleep peacefully knowing that. God loves you; no one can take that from you. Remember no one but yourself can get you to Heaven. God is there for you, reach out to Him today. Your salvation is in your hands, but it can be in His, if you will only Trust, and obey Him…I love you all my friends.

"What does being Lost mean"

What does it mean to be lost to God? If you do not know what it means to be lost, some things you will never find.. The Bible states, in Luke 19:10 that Jesus came into the world to seek and to save "that" which was lost.

God knew you before you were even born, He had already developed a love for you, and unfortunately that divine connection was lost after you were born. This is due to the fall of Adam in the Book of Genesis. Before Adam fell into sin, he and God had a very close relationship. They were so close that they walked together and chatted in the Garden of Eden every single day. After Adam fell, that close bond was broken. Though God wanted to continue to communicate with Adam, he could not do so because it is God's holy nature to not put Himself in the presence of sin. Romans 8:16 tells us: "The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God." First, we have the unshakable testimony from within us! The Holy Spirit of God constantly reassures us that we belong to Jesus Christ. Therefore, after Adam's fall, every person who was born after him was born into a world of sin. In order for Adam's sin to be forgiven and in order for every man and woman to be restored back to a rightful relationship with God, a sacrifice had to be made. God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to be that sacrifice. Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected so that every person can come through Him to be restored back to a personal relationship with God. This process of being reconciled is known as "salvation," a free gift from God to man that cannot be earned; it can only be received.
After receiving salvation, you are no longer lost because you have found your way back to God, through the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
1 John 5:13 informs us that the entire Book of 1 John was written so that we can know that we possess eternal life in Christ. Do you know for absolute certainty that, if you were to die tonight, you would go to Heaven?
Do you love--really love-- Can you meet a total stranger, find out that they are a believer, and then have instant fellowship with them? Is there "something" in your heart that draws you to them and establishes a closeness, which cannot be explained any other way?

If you answered yes to this question, then know that God is in you, and He wants you back, He needs you back. His heartbreaks when one of His children is lost. Understand that ALL men ever born are sinners. Romans 3:23, says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Ephesians 2:8-9, the Apostle Paul reiterates this teaching that eternal life with God is a free gift. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast." No man can stand before God in eternity, and boast that they 'earned' their way to Heaven. All people in Heaven will be there only because of Jesus' FREE Gift, which He obtained from God because of His death sacrifice on the Cross.
'How can I obtain this free gift of eternal life'? Again, I turn to the Bible. In Acts 16:25-33, the jailer anxiously asked Paul, "What must I do to be saved"? Paul answered; "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved ..." verse 31". You must BELIEVE on Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. To truly believe, you must place your complete faith, trust in Christ, and rely upon Him as your only hope of salvation and eternal life. It is that simple my friends. You have to talk to Christ, let Him know how you feel, tell Him of your worries, He listens, I ask today for acceptance. Jesus is waiting for you, just reach out and call His name. Tell Jesus everything, for He already knows what you are going through, however He wants to hear it from you. BELIEVE, and then RECEIVE!

I love you my friends, May God bless each of you today!

“Living Forever”

The spirit of the eagle looks out for others
A constant vigil to give guidance
I have seen much pain upon my journey.....
Life hasn’t always been good
For many years I was also lost
I now know the inner heart that resides within my soul and body
I’m bound to this earth till I find my way
God has always been with me
I was born again by faith...
Like a fallen angel from the midst of the heavenly clouds
It’s posted in the notebook of life
That my spirit shall live forever
For God will always be with me.
As I see the eagle soaring above
It leaves no doubt that the wind beneath His wings shall carry me home.

I share with you a poem i wrote today...hope you enjoy.  Time is short, I climb another step on Jacobs ladder, waiting for God to carry me home.  I love you all my friends,  God bless

Are you in need?

In my life I have met many who are less fortunate than I am. As a Christian I feel it is my duty to assist with God’s help. I am only one, but if each of us did just a little, we could help so many. It’s the little things in life that mean the most to someone. And it is as simple as a nice warm handshake, or a hot meal, or even sometimes just a hello will help others to get through what they are enduring. I recall times in Jesus life when he was homeless, and did you know that most that followed God were as well, or they left behind what they had, to follow Him.

The word “poor” occurs 205 times in 197 verses in the KJV Bible. God’s view on the poor is very clear. It is safe to say that Jesus was a homeless person at least some of the time (see Luke 9:58). The people that Jesus associated with were homeless and poor as well. Paul, who was a close follower of Jesus wrote “even until now we…have no certain dwelling place” (see 1 Corinthians 4:11). And finally, Paul writes that God’s only begotten Son became poor although he was rich for our sakes (see 2 Corinthians 8:9). Does this mean He loves us any less, by no means does it mean that, its pretty clear in Gods word that He loves us even more. He knows the daily struggles that you go through, you have to give them to Him to carry, just ask, He will be there.
Luke 9:58 - And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air [have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay [his] head.
1Corintians 4:11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place;
2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
These are only three of the 197 verses. Jesus knows first hand what you are going through. The Bible states that God will deliver the poor from their affliction, see Psalms 107:41 yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock. Since Christians should look toward God as an example of how to live, the poor are the responsibility of us. Jesus explains that the reasoning for this is that whenever someone feeds someone who is hungry or gives drink to the thirsty, he is actually doing so unto Jesus himself. Matthew 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me.There is nothing more to say here, other than to love thy neighbor as Jesus loves you. Lend a helping hand to those in need; you never know when it might be you. God bless all those that are hungry, tired and weary, He loves you as do I.

“Loving God”

As I look at my life and know what kind of woman I am, and the kind of life I strive to live, my thoughts get filled. I personally know all too well the frightening ability the brain has to control our thoughts. I have to depend on God’s word to help me to conquer the debilitating damage my thoughts create.

I can look back on things and be so overwhelmed with gratitude to God for being with me as I have gone through difficult times during my life. He has provided strength, and all the things necessary to get me to the next point. I was sharing with a friend today who is in dire need of love from above. I reminded them of Matthew 6:34, 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. It is hard for us to look at the big picture we get so focused on the fog in our life at the moment, not understanding “why”. It is so easy to do that when you are the one sitting there and nothing in your life seems right, and so easy for an outsider to say get over it and move on. I look to God for these answers, for I am human and don’t have any. God will give us His surefire instructions for handling “situations” and trials that come with each thought. He gives us His truth to think about, to believe in and to act on. When you have nothing, give that away, because the truth is, God will multiply it if only you give it to Him and trust Him with your worry.

See my friends all God ask is that you love Him; cope with today, the rest will come as He has planned. If you don’t have the hope of God, you have nothing. So no matter how hard today is, let God know how it is hurting you, how you feel so alone and scared. Then obey Him and Trust that He will show you the way.
If you feel like everyone needs something from you, or depending on you, you probably don’t take much time for just you alone. Jesus knows what this is like, see remember when He was praying and had asked everyone to leave Him alone, it didn’t happen, because Simon Peter disturbed Him to let Him know “Everyone is looking for you”.

Jesus knew what was ahead, he knew He would suffer at the hands of others, and He had done nothing wrong, but talk about His Heavenly Father. He was beaten, (Watch Passion of Christ) accused, dragged, nailed, read that folks, nails driven thru His hands and feet, and He was innocent. He knows what you are going through. He was imprisoned; he went without to give to His Father and us. Remember what He said on the cross…Forgive them Father for they know not what they do…Take a leap of faith, give it all to God and watch what happens. Be patient for good comes to all who wait patiently, and give of the Lord. His blood stained hands reach out to you, please take them. I love you my friends, God Bless each of you.

“Heart of Iniquities”

The most important thing in finding true happiness is finding honest with you. When you look in the mirror what reflection, do you see? What is true love to you; do you show others that you care, that you are willing to make their existence better? Is your heart so scarred that you cannot find you? God can and will cleanse your heart and make it anew. As my heart has been crumbled, I turn to psalms chapter 51. In God, I lay my heart. Psalm 51

1Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. 5Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 14Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. 15O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. 16For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. 18Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. 19Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

My friends give your broken heart to God, leave the crumbs behind, reach out to that new love. God bless you my friends.

“Choices in Life”

Why do we make bad choices in life? Life is about learning, including making the right decisions. We are presented with choices every day of our lives. Some choices are so minor that they really make no overall difference in our lives. Other choices can have a major influence not only on our life but also on the lives of our families, friends.

The people of Israel begin to protest that they want a king to lead them, so that they can be just like everyone else. Samuel was hurt that the people wanted new leadership after he had been providing a strong spiritual example to them for so many years. Samuel thinks to himself that this request is sinful on the part of the Israelites but he decides to pray to God for guidance regarding the Israelites’ request. God reiterates to Samuel explaining that the people are not against you, they are against me. Samuel warns the people about their request for a king and cautions that there will be some very serious consequences because of having kings.

God does grant their request and gives them Saul to become their first king, but Samuel does not just leave their poor choice alone. He emphasizes to the people that they need to continue to fear the Lord and obey Him. If the people continue down their current path and disobey the Lord and rebel against His commands, then the nation will reap some serious consequences.

Reading this story in the Bible just reaffirms to me how going against the right choices in life only causes us more pain and suffering. We have to continue to obey God and listen as He speaks. Give all your choices to God before you make your final one. We will continue to make bad choices, but there will be fewer if you think over your decisions and pray first. Life is about learning, but it is also about making smart choices. This includes choosing who is in your life. “I hold fast to God's Word daily. My life depends on it, and yours does too. The Bible tells us to choose our friends very carefully in this life. These verses will tell us that he who walks with wise people will become wise himself, but that he who keeps company with fools will be destroyed. The Bible tells us that we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. We are to stay away from people who cause divisions and offenses, and to withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly.

“The righteous should CHOOSE HIS FRIENDS CAREFULLY, for the way of the wicked leads them astray.” (Proverbs 12:26) “A wise man is strong, yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; for by wise counsel you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.”(Proverbs24:5) “Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter days.” (Proverbs 19:20)

Choose God for all your choices…God bless you my friends!

“A Time of Cleaning”

This past week I took some time off to go through my house and discard things that were of no use anymore. I found this very challenging, I found myself clinging to things that I had not even seen in two years. I also decided to paint two rooms of my house, give it a new feel and look, fresh, relaxing. What I found this week was a lost me, somewhere midst the dust bunnies and pile of old clothing I had disappeared. We keep things in our life that have no meaning or purpose, in some ways they weigh us down. I guess you could say I put my thinking cap on and looked around and saw that I had done the same thing with people in my life. Not everyone is a good choice for you; some bring you down or take you to their standards in life. It was time to open my eyes in all areas of my life, time to refocus on what and who was needed for me to be successful in Gods eyes.

The word of God can change our outlook on life but we have to be willing to listen to it and follow its teachings, if we are going to see the changes. We sense that separation, that distance from God because of our sin. The Bible tells us that "All of us like sheep have gone astray; each of us has turned to his own way.” Deep down, our attitude may be one of active rebellion or passive indifference toward God and his ways, but its all evidence of what the Bible calls sin. The result of sin in our lives is death -- spiritual separation from God. Although we may try to get close to God through our own effort, we inevitably fail. You ask what does this have to do with clothes and people, and paint. It has a lot to do with it. We change our appearance everyday in our lives thru the means of clothes, isn’t it time to change the inside appearance? To change the inside, we need to put ourselves where other people that choose God are and discard those that are of evil. Once we have done these things, we can seek God for a cleaner clearer vision of what it is He wants for us in our lives. The color crimson represents the Blood of the Lamb for me, its everlasting; it carries truth, understanding, love and eternal life, not dead red.

God bless you my friends…Ask God back into your home and your internal life.

“Overcoming Anger”

The Lord calls us to:

     • Be merciful
     • Overlook the sins of others
     • Not to take revenge
     • Treat people with love and grace.

Anger must be overcome by the power of God’s Word and Spirit. 2 Timothy 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good

Are you so angry that you cannot find peace within yourself? You wake up not knowing how to handle a situation that has made you so angry that you just want to scream at someone. First, we have to get the root of the situation and figure out how it can be resolved. I was given a good example by a friend, they said it is just like you have a wall that needs to be painted and you go out and get the paint and just put it on the dirty wall, what happens is it after awhile the paint will just start to strip off. This same thing happens, when you let anger fester within yourself, layers of yourself start to peel. If you take time and prepare the wall first, the paint sticks properly and you move on to the next room. The first thing we have to do to figure out our own anger is to follow some simple steps.

1. Acknowledge that we are angry
2. Deal with the anger
3. If you see you have died inside, live for Christ
4. Break the hold anger has on you
5. Replace the anger with kindness and love
6. When you feel angry, take yourself out of the situation completely. Think about why you are angry, why it is holding you back, then get a grip on yourself and start reading Gods word and get into prayer.

Psalm 145:8 - The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. Ecclesiastes 7:9 - Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. Ephesians 4:26 - In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.

Anger will by God’s Grace be overcome!

God bless you my friends.

“Forgetfulness” “Forgiveness”

The Bible states that when one truly repents to the Lord and asks for forgiveness, your sins are then "cast into the sea of forgetfulness." How it is then that Jesus will judge us all for our sins if the sins are cast into the sea of forgetfulness?

"Come now and let us reason together, says the LORD, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18) "For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:11-12)

It is true that God forgives our sin when we are saved, but we do confess our sins when we sin after that: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

This was on my mind this afternoon, as I thought about how upset I am with a family member, and how I need for them to say they are sorry and ask me to be part of their life. I realize if I wait on them, I may never get that, but as a Christian, I need to be the stronger and just go and forgive.

"But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ." (Romans 14:10)

If I can’t then how can I go before God and ask for forgiveness, He loves me no matter what the situation is, He does not look down on me. I want to be able to go before Him on the Throne in Heaven and have a clear conscious, so this day I forgive all that have sinned against me. I love each and everyone in Jesus Name. Father I ask for forgiveness for all of my sins and for harboring a grudge against someone else. Please forgive me of all my sins, and I thank you for loving me in Jesus name I pray. Amen!

God never forgets us, He loves us. Give all your sins to God, and then leave them there. If you are angry with anyone, or hurt by him or her, be the better person and forgive him or her. Try not to be forgetful, if you make promises, keep them…

God bless you my friends

“Unbelievable”

Will your faith withstand, for see FAITH MEANS BELIEVING THE UNBELIEVABLE …

People say it is hard to believe in someone you cannot see. Is it they cannot see or they just don’t have the faith to see? Luke 18: 27 - The things, which are impossible with men, are possible with God. Doesn’t His word tell us to just seek Him, and we will find Him with our HEART AND SOUL. Deut. 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

With our heart and soul we shall see who the Lord is, what He stands for and what He wants for us in our lives. The Lord has shown us many miracles throughout time in the Bible. “Jesus Walked on the Water” and so did Peter, until his faith faltered. Jesus healed, forgave and died. Were we there to witness these things? No, but each of us at some point in our life has witnessed a miracle that Jesus has performed. Jesus speaks to all of us, some just do not believe. God knows what your future holds, and you have to believe that He will be with you thru each step that you take.

Sometimes we have to step back and realize there is nothing unbelievable in what God does for us.

An unbelievable story all began early that morning when three women, exhausted and grief-filled, made their way to the tomb to find that the body of Jesus was no longer there, but now a man in a white robe. A man who spoke to them and said Jesus has risen. It began there, but here's the most unbelievable thing of all . . . the end is ours to live. These women were scared. They did not know what would happen if they went blabbing their mouths. They believed! You have to take that leap of FAITH and believe that without JESUS in your life, you will fail, no questions asked, there will be no hope of a day in Heaven. With BELIEF AND FAITH YOU SHALL FIND JESUS, SEEK HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND SOUL, AND THEN PLEASE DO NOT BE SCARED TO LET HIM IN.

I am Heaven bound in Christ, for I believe the ‘Unbelievable”, Jesus is alive in all of us. God bless you my friends.

“Deacon or Deaconess”

Are you a Deacon or Deaconess in your life? One who serves, a runner, or a messenger, the glue that holds things in place.

1Timothy 3:13 For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.

Timothy 3:1-8-1The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. 2 Therefore an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, 5 for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church? 6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil.

The bible is very clear on what it means to be a deacon or deaconess; it is a clear understanding of what it takes to be a servant to the Lord.

One who is not afraid of what others will think of them, who is not afraid to let all know about your Father, to go out of your own comfort zone to speak openly with total stranger about God as well as aid others in the house of the Lord, for Christ, rather you are helping park cars or working in the nursery. It is the simple things that we do that lets others see our inner self.

In the broad sense, all Christians are called to be “deacons” or “servants.” The deacon-spirit of humble service for others should motivate all that we do. Are others seeing you as an outstanding servant-spirit? Are you trustworthy, respected, serious, dignified, and Godly? These are all qualities necessary to becoming a good deacon or deaconess. Model yourself after Jesus, for He is the Model Deacon. God bless you my friends.

"Relationships"

In any relationship you have to learn what brings out the best in them, and then nourish that particular aspect of your relationship, rather it is a spouse, partner or acquaintance. You have to figure out what you can contribute to make this relationship a better one. It starts with putting others first and you will be amazed at what you will get in return. I have found without the Presence of God’s spirit, a relationship falls apart. I feel that the Lord is teaching us, “Without me ye can do nothing.

We are all, by nature; essentially are alone. The door to our personal home is closed shut and latched. God the Father and Christ want to change this situation. Notice how Jesus put it in Revelation 3:20:

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock. If any man shall HEAR my voice, and OPEN the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."

Jesus desires to be our best friend, He wants us to call upon Him and He expects you to open the door when He knocks. . Your Savior says that what he would really like is to have you recognize his voice, open the door and invite him to come in -- sit down, relax, and enjoy a meal -- indeed, a feast together -- just you and him. This is the beginning of the greatest relationship that you will ever have. With Jesus as your BEST FRIEND, He will always have your back.

Our Savior emphasized to his disciples that his relationship with them (and certainly with us as well, if indeed we are his disciples!) was based primarily on friendship, not merely on a Master-servant association. Notice John 15:14-16: "You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants (slaves); for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you FRIENDS; for all things that I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you. You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you."

I ask that you choose your friends, relationships wisely, ask for Gods advice, but never let anyone come before Christ. Always remember He is forever, your best friend, you will lose many relationships, friends and even family members, however you will never lose God. He loves and adores you, just remember He chose you….God bless you my friends.
