“Standing after the fall”

Many of us are facing some kind of storm in our life. These storms come into our lives in many different ways. You need to be rooted and grounded so that you can stand strong when the storms in life come. You need to know that you and your home/family will be strong and stand. You have to know that God gives you firm ground to stand on; He gives us bridges to cross when the floods come. The questions Is, are you taking the higher ground, or are you trying to walk against the wind and finding yourself to be continuously getting pushed backwards? Have you felt the beating of life in your family and in your life? Do you feel that now you just cannot seem to pick yourself up.

Jesus is about to tell you how to survive and thrive. Matthew 7:24-27 Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell and great was the fall of it.

You need to know that Jesus is the answer for your storm. I want to tell you that you can overcome. You do not have to be defeated by every storm that comes you way. Jesus said His words would give you life. In the sermon on the mount Jesus said

"He that hears these sayings of Mine and does them...will overcome the storm."

Jesus said: When the rains descend, the floods come, the winds blows, and beat upon your house, you will not fall. Praise God!

I want you to realize today that you belong to God, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t or won’t be able to get thru the disappointments in life, for God’s word tells you different, don’t take my word on it, read the good news, pick up a Bible and read His word, His truths… Read Matthew chapter 5, the Sermon on the Mount….He is not talking to the world here, he is talking to us, and those of us who desire to follow Him. You will not find how to get to Heaven in the Sermon, but you will find that you have to be born again to get there. Let Jesus hold you up, He laid his life down for you and me, so no flood, no storm in life can keep Him for being there for you.

One of my favorite scriptures reassure me of the love my Father has for us; Psalm 91:1-11 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10There shall no evil befall thee; neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Will you be standing after your next storm? Wait no longer; accept God into your life today so that all storms will be in His hands. God bless you this day my friend!
