"No Greater Love"

“No better place than love”

Even today on a worldly celebrated holiday, Valentines Day, we seek out loving someone, the going out and buying of chocolates, roses, and even diamonds for those fortunate few…We reach deep within our pockets to make sure we get our guy or girl just the right gift that says “I love you” or I want you as mine forever. But, Then there are those who feel lost, broke, and feel they will never be loved, rather lone receive such extravagant gifts, and many won’t. But as a world, do we think about those less fortunate than us? Of course not, most never even realize anything beyond our doors, but thank God some one does.

Where will you find any better Love of that of a Father and His Child? You won’t and can’t. On this holiday and every other day you are never alone and you have received a gift far better than chocolates and diamonds. Just read what the Bible tells us about Love, and how to give and receive it.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

Song of Solomon 7:10-12
“I am my beloveds and his desire is toward me.
Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourishes, whether the tender grapes appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my love.”

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. – 1 John 4:9-11

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails . . . And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. - Excerpts from 1 Corinthians 13:4-13

"We love because he first loved us." 1 John 4:19

THERE IS NO LOVE GREATER THAN A FATHERS LOVE. Give your life to Jesus today so you too can receive the greatest gift of all, your Heavenly Fathers love.
