JESUS IS THE WAY!

I am the way, the truth, and the life; NO MAN cometh unto the Father, BUT BY ME.” — Jesus Christ (John 14:6)

Jesus Christ is the one and only way to get to Heaven!

To get to Heaven, first you have to know Jesus Christ, maybe today is the day that you need to start fresh. A changed life is the result of genuine repentance (2nd Corinthians 5:17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. We don't give up our sins to get saved; we give up our sins because WE ARE SAVED. God makes the change. Salvation is by grace through faith alone in Christ (Ephesians 2:8, 9). For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

It seems to me if you ask others what it takes to get to Heaven, you get many wrong answers, the one I love the most is, I go to church every Sunday, my 2nd favorite is well I do a lot more good things than I do bad. You know this brings tears to my eyes. Sure it is great to go to church, this is where you need to get to know Jesus, a place to learn the bible, to sing praises to the Lord, but one thing its not is a place to go and see who is wearing what and to get caught up on the latest gossip. As for the second thing, you can do good all day long, everyday, but if you don’t know Jesus it does you no good.


Did you know that the Bible says that nobody is good enough to get into heaven? Each one of us has broken God's commandments--not one person is accepted. You have personally lied and committed other sins.


For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)


However, God loved you enough to send His only begotten Son to die for your sins. The Bible says, "... and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matt 1:21).


I believe if you have read all of this up to here, you have the point that you have to know Jesus to get to Heaven. One of the hardest things for us is to recognize that we are all sinners, so that is step one, look at yourself and realize you can’t do this alone, then get on bended knee and repent all your sins and ask for forgiveness, to receive this forgiveness you have to trust and believe in God and His son. Then you have to make a conscious effort to make God your savior. If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, KJV). Invite Jesus into your life, and live your life according to His plan for you.
